He's always liked candidates like her - Debra, Claire, Ruth ..... She's also good at spotting the reasons for success or failure and attributing blame - and she usually tends to agree with him or sound convincing. Those people don't usually win, but she may be up against a male with the same faults, and she may have a proposal thats better, or one that crumbles quickly.

I don't think Luisa is a bit like Debra, Claire or Ruth. These candidates were forceful and brash, perhaps, and rather annoying in Claire's case, but none seemed really malign as Luisa does.

Her contempt of the corporate world. If she was that serious of getting investment of her three already successful business (according to her), then she doesn't need investment, but more exposure to get her businesses for exposure and recognition.
