I think the producers would have had a word or two if they genuinely had tried to go for the same theme, considering the other team quite clearly went for the School theme... can't have both teams having the same idea, after all...

Adds weight to my theory they get given a list, behind the scenes, of themes they are allowed to choose from in suposed 'random' choices... but that's a discussion for another topic...

Pro: Leah listened to the customer and tailored the day around the bank's requirements.

Con: she did not make best use of the experience of her team members.

I don't really like standing up for Neil here because I don't like him as a candidate but he did well in this task.

Yes he did come up with some bad ideas like the school event, and the sumo wrestling but he was the one who came up with the activities where the clients had to work as a team ie where one member was blindfolded and the other had to explain to the other what to do. He was the one asking questions and taking notes about their role in the business with Miles. It was Neil who really understood that this was about business here, Leah did nothing to compensate for that.

I don't think anyone really understood what Leah's vision for the day was with a historian medievil theme, certainly no team building exersises were mentioned, and I can't think of one example where she showed she understood what the task was about.

She still won though. I also liked the way that she stood up to the boys and in a way she brought the best out in the team. At least she didn't have wine at school themed event. Whatever were they thinking? It was a difficult task and there are strong personalities there. You have to be strong to stand up to them.

She was also the one that kept reminding them what the event was about and Neil picked up on that. She really brought this back to the guys after the business meeting so in reality she wasn't a bad project manager.

Hey you - Strictly folk popping up all over the place tonight!

I know the boys can be a bit of a handful, but I think Leah's had a bad attitude the past couple of weeks - she just seems permanently pissed off. I was a fan to begin with but I've gone off her. I don't think going with her instincts won this task - it was the gusto with which the boys approached the event and Neil's little speech at the end.

I must confess I was very shallow and found Louisa and Leah very attractive female candidates. But I am really disappointed to say that the women candidates on the whole is very weak this series.

There may be a lot of alpha males spraying their testosterone around trying to dominate the situation all the time, but at least Alex, Neil and to a lesser extend Myles and Jordon (who's increasingly annoying I must add) showed some tangible potential thus far.

What has Jordan done?

Her accent grates on me, send her home and she can take that useless and equally annoying Christine Bleakly and Zoe Salmon with her.

He's supposed to be the financial guy and he couldn't keep up. And did he even question the flaming flamingo they got for £300? And all his smirking when Lord Sugar was critiquing the other teams.

That made me 'lol'

It was so obvious from tonight's episode that Jordan and Luisa were banging.

I think Neil and Myles are the strongest candidates left now. And Rebecca should have been given the chance to PM before she was shown the door.

I just couldn't get past Leah's eyes in this task When she was speaking to the clients it looked like she was crying or does she wear contact lenses .

Leah clearly told the boys during a phone call that client want his exec's to learn from each activity during the day

I don't think she's quite that bad, but I completely agree the last two weeks have cast her in a poor light after a strong start. She's in the middle of a very mediocre pack for me now.

She's a doctor?

Well I predict that she'll be fired in the next few weeks then.

If you're a doctor, a lawyer, or ex-army on this show, you may as well forget it.

After last week when Leah thought herself so much better to be a PM than Zee, she really let herself down this week by being indecisive and weak.

However she did do something, it's another week where Natalie appeared to do sod all.

She came across quite badly last night, not sure how much was down to editing but the guys seemed pretty pissed off with her. I think Leah has good instincts and is very intelligent; but sometimes she just bulldozes her ideas through and gets people's backs up. I think that's her main failing - she just doesn't have a lot of patience with people not as quick or able or perceptive as herself and often misses important things in the process.

I'm glad she hasn't run for political office. Based on her approach to voting in last night's episode, she doesn't believe in democracy!

She's a miserable cow.

And she looked like she'd been crying last night, one if the times when they were in the taxi. And I don't think I've seen her smile once!

Sorry but if she is telling the truth about her age (24) how on earth has she completed a 5 year medical degree plus 2 years post grad qualification and surgical training?

It was mentioned in passing last night, but I do think she over-reacted to the feedback she got last week, when she was told she should have stuck to her guns, ignored Zee and gone to the mall.

The biggest issue for me wasn't so much the theme she pushed through - to be honest, I don't think the theme itself matters as much as how well it is executed. The problem was that she hadn't really thought about what the client might want - and on the day itself we were led to believe it was Neil and Myles who pulled all those threads together. She was so focussed on the what and the how of the task that she paid too little attention to the why. Mind you, Francesca was even worse.

I largely agree with this post.

For me, Leah has received slightly over the top criticism from the last 2 weeks.

To the people who slate her for having that vote and then deciding on her own theme- get a grip! If she had said it was a democracy then fair enough, but it's not. She was the DM after all.
There is NO harm in getting the opinions of those on your team and then sticking to your guns/ overruling them (even if you change this later).

Can you imagine the people on here that would have had a field day at her if she had wanted her History theme, was outvoted by the men, and then just backed down and gone with what they wanted. She'd be labelled indecisive, someone that didn't have the courage of her convictions, a weak candidate etc. compared to the guys.

As with many candidates, the Apprentice police are watching. It seems the knives are out for Leah.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't!

It's not unknown for younger people to complete degrees. They're usually progedies in math related fields though.

There is a big difference you seemed to have missed. When Leah got the hump with Zee, she did nothing apart from slag him of, and bitch to the guys about him. The boys last night might not have been happy with her. But they got on with the task, and in the end were the strongest on that team last night.

Leah was one of my favourites at the start, but after last week and this week..she has gone way down in my estimation. If her team lost yesterday, she would have been fired. There was no way any of the biys would have been fired and woman on the team, did what she was told. Even though she is just as useless.

If they'd lost, she probably would have tactically brought Natalie back because she's on her last warning. Maybe it would have been a double firing though.
