They needed to get the client satisfaction expressed in momentary terms so it could be combined with the expensive to produce a single value.

I took him to mean Luisa.

It's long been my belief that Lord Sugar has a bias against firing team leaders. In this series he's already fired 3 of 5, and he was disinclined to make it 4 of 6. So he was eager to fire anyone but Francesca.

I was very surprised when he fired Rebecca, though. She has been the best seller on at least two tasks. She was also very active in this one: she'd had ideas which the team leader had followed, so she was hardly guilty of flying under the radar or of being someone no-one listened to. He really didn't have much rationale other than "instinct". (Personally I don't think he should have fired Zee last week, and had he not done so he could have fired the team leader this week.)
The way he highlighted what he thought were Rebecca's failings on the task before warning Francesca that she'd be fired if she brought back the wrong people led me to believe he meant Rebecca... Rebecca's comments on You're Fired about Francesca having said she wouldn't bring her back add weight to that.

This. Coupled with the fact that it was Rebecca he actually fired...

Well in that case, what is the point of the fines? They might as well ignore them and judge the task purely on profit.

Well, that's just your opinion. I personally thought Neil's speech was very good, from what I saw of it.
I wonder did he include what he said in his intro video, he doesn't care if he cheats, lies or rubs people up the wrong way to make sure he doesn't get fired and he will trample on anyone who gets in his way . Great message to impart to bank managers , not.

Yeah, but people say all kinds of rubbish in their videos. Gabrielle from last year said that she was like a lion and would literally roar her way to the top. That was nothing like Gabrielle!

The supposed winning move looked like excruciating irrelevant waffle.
The winning move looked like Neil Clough on how Neil Clough became... Neil Clough.
