I just dont get why they are doing a celeb BB with regular BB back to back again, its just to long and I like something to watch in the new year rather than that.

Agree just stick civil bb on for 13 weeks then ch 5 can make some cosmetic changes to the house come January

I wish it was true but I expect he messed up and he means that both CBB and BB combined will run for 13 weeks, as they have done for the last two years.

13 weeks is too long. 10 gets it done just right - and even then, that can drag.

It could only do that if there was no summer CBB.

Think he meant the run as a whole, he mentioned something about CBB ending the end of August which would mean a 9 or 10 week civillian series as normal.

wish they would leave CBB for January and not have one in Aug/Sept. I've just counted and if BB and CBB runs for 13 weeks altogether which I think that what Rylan means, that mean it all ends on Friday 13th September. IF he means BB is 13 weeks plus 3 weeks of CBB, thatll mean it wont end til
Friday 4th October which is a bit late tbh

I'd love it to be 13 weeks instead of 10, but I doubt it will happen. I love the last few weeks of a very long BB run. When everyone in there is losing their minds, hates each other, while desperately holding on to win.

Although having said all that, the same thing happened in BB5 and that wasn't 13 weeks.

Would a yearlong BB work here, I know they did one in Germany and they tried an indefinite series too but ended that after a year.

I'm a MASSIVE BB fan but I don't think I could watch BB every night for a year!! I would want some kind of life after a while LOL

Brian Dowling gone. Jamie East gone. Alice Levine gone. Live feed back (albeit limited). Original style HMs (supposedly)...How's it getting worse?

NO. It'd be the death of the show.

The confirmed details are OK but the rumours are getting worse (token oldies, couples, etc.).

Hopefully the rumours are just rumours and we end up with a great house, great housemates (all picked on merit - the best dozen or so from the auditions not some with partners and daft secrets), great tasks, no contact wth the outside world and no nomination fiddling.

I don't like having a short bb and then a cbb right after, leave the cbb for jan and have a longer civil bb.

Agree I would prefer just to have the civil bb in the summer for 13 weeks then the celebrity series for 3 weeks in January or February

Nothing wrong with old housemates IF the quality is right and the balance is right.

lol, well it works for soaps but yeah would probably be too much, wonder if anyone could last a full year in the BB house, I would have a breakdown probably.

Sometimes 13 weeks is too long. It worked fine in BB7 and BB10, but in the others? Not so much. Oh well, the more BB the better I suppose!

(Still don't think another Celebrity series should run immediately after. That is overkill).
