I saw an interview with Sugar on Graham Nortons show, and he was very quick to defend Alex. Something made me think there was more to it than that. I reckon the guy has either won this or is in the final.

Are you actually watching the programme? He was fired weeks ago.

Opps, I meant to say Alex Mills. All changed now.

I think he is one of the front-runners, for sure. But while I think he will go far - and his Foldo design was genius - I'm not sure he's the obvious favourite yet.

As it stands today I'd say it's between Alex and Myles.

He's probably one of the last four. But I don't think we should read too much into LAS' defence of Alex of the Graham Norton Show. He's hardly likely to give out any clues, if anything it was possibly a red herring

He's had the most positive edit out of everyone, plus he's had consistent focus as opposed to Myles who seems like a background character.

Myles or Neil atm I'm thinking. Neil absolutely shined in this task and Myles demonstrated that he's a nice guy + a good businessman + hottie. Myles or Neil to win.

But Jordan and Alex are also quite strong candidates!

Where the hell are the girls this year? They all started incredibly strong in their own ways...but atm Luisa and Leah are the only ones who've stood out. Rebecca, Sophie and Uzma had potential...but LS never gave them a chance - he should have let them try to be PM!

Jordan is just to immature when in the board room, look at all his "woops for joy" which ended in LAS telling him "he wasn't at a football game" and this week the way he kept smirking every time the other teams mistakes were mentioned.

I don't think so.

He seems to have a very low tolerance for everything and loses his cool far to fast. Every week he's "sick of it" (or words to that effect) for some reason or another, when (from what the edit shows) nothing has really happened.

A strong candidate? He's a shouty little boy, screaming insults from the back seat. What's he done that's positive?

Alex won't win. He is a complete and utter diva. Imagine going into business with someone like that: bitching like a witch at every opportunity.

Myles seems really down to earth but I doubt he will win.

I hope to God, Neil Clough does not win. He needs a good slap across his face. He genuinely thinks the sun shines out of his arris! Whatever!

Best design ever according to his Lordship - which must count for something. If thats relevant he looks a good bet. he also gets quite a lot of the business issues right. I wouldn't invest in him though because one silly idea and your money would be gone. .

I think he's there for a long time, but they are building up Neil in the edit giving him credit, ignoring his silly suggestions, and self hype, and pretending his rambling motivational nonsense wouldn't have reduced intelligent people to a fit of giggles. I don't see much substance there - but Lord Sugar has let similar people win before. There's also a football connection there.

I can't see Myles doing much wrong , but I also can't see him coming up with a socially/politically acceptable idea. A tax exile trading to the rich, winning is hardly the sort of entrepreneur the show should want to be seen supporting.

I also think its time for a female winner - or the show will be criticised for having a female free winners club since the changed prize. Leah has sense, but may not offer anything acceptable. Behind the ditzy facade, Luisa has a lot of business sense. If her proposals hold up she would look a good contender - if he's prepared to finally go for a loud female, if he's willing to go into new fields, and if he's ready to take media interest on.

Actually, if you count every series (including Young Apprentice), then bar one occasion with Simon and Lee, the winners have always alternated male and female.

I love Count Alex!! This is my first Apprentice, I find the whole thing hysterical, maybe I'm not meant to?

The women, nearly all of them, annoy the hell out of me. Passion is one thing, screeching at each other like chavvy fishwives must surely be positively discouraging any potential employers from Ever employing them except to scare crows. I kind of agreed with the Chinese woman when she left. Admittedly she didn't engage with much but at least she felt she came out of it without lowering her standards of behaviour.

I can't fault your observations here. The way he and Zee treated Jason was pretty shameful, yet he doesn't seem to be getting the same amount of negative comments that others are, despite being pretty rude and aggressive at times.

Don't get me wrong, I like watching this guy too- he amuses me, but a winner? Not even close for me.

Can you imagine him going into business with Sugar. The business is struggling a bit, Sugar calls with a few ideas.

Alex, "Lord Sugar, what are you talking about? You're an absolute fool, you've got no idea!"

He's fired. Altho I am finding it hard to pick a final 4 out of this lot. Myles seems calm and collected, but mainly cos he hasn't had much air time, and I thought Rebecca handled herself well, but the rest are like children or fools.

Neil is regional manager of a soccer centre- that's nothing compared to Lord Sugar being chairman of Tottenham

That said, in terms of having common interests with Lord Sugar, I believe Neil is the only football fan in this year's show

Well, I don't know if he counts since he's been fired, but Kurt was spouting off about Steven Gerrard in his audition video, so I'd be surprised if he didn't like football.

It was a shame that he was fired last week. I really liked him. I thought Myles should have gone.
