Ava's material about her daughter and Andi's about children in public are quite similar.

Ava Vidal disappointed me in how quick she was to mention her ethnicity. At least she didn't mention her mother and start talking in a Nigerian accent like most of the black comedians on the show do.

..........I was thinking physical presence rather than quality of the jokes!
I was going to say something similar... she's very pretty
Not so keen on her hairstyle in this episode though.
I like Gary Delaney - he's very funny

I recall it being mentioned that last year, he wasn't even there for the whole show. He got a standing ovation from most of the audience last year. If he is there again this year, I wonder what they'll give him.

His laugh is, well, an unusually loud one

She looked like a silhouette of Mickey Mouse

That's not surprising as TV recordings are drawn out processes. I'm not sure if it's the case for Mock The Week (as they don't usually show the faces of the audience) but sometimes audience members are required to remain present until the producers have reviewed everything that has been filmed and any outtakes have been redone, with someone keeping the audience entertained between what seems like the end of the program and the outtakes being recorded.

I was thinking the same Pretty girl, but it just looked silly, I remember Reg D Hunter had a similar wacky hairstyle on HIGNFY.

Josh Widdicombe's laugh annoys me...

I liked Hal Cruttenden's brief impersonation of Jeremy Kyle!

I saw that resemblence as well !

I think he's been on "Live at the Apollo" once or twice ; Hal Cruttenden , not Martin Roberts !

What's your favorite 'Scenes We'd Like to See' out of all series?

Also, I've started a game in the Reality TV section called 'DS Mock the Week' - anyone want to join (if you think it'll work)?

I miss Frankie Boyle. Having said that i totally understand why he isnt there and why he was a destructive influence but i think the show needs "an edge". It all feels a bit too safe for me. I think even Micky Flanagan managed to push the boundaries a bit.

The current line up are all pretty good IMO but it needs someone to be a bit of a loose cannon to keep everyone else on their toes.

I know what you mean though I can see why Dara looked uncomfortable when Micky did his "accents"
Sometimes the others have done (bad) accents like French, Chinese etc or Gina/Stephen K Amos put on Nigerian accents and they dont get any flak.
