Accents seem to be one of those PC and/or cringe moments.
I remember when Nik Rabinowitz did his Desmond Tutu and as first the panel and crowd seemed nervous but then I think they remembered he was South African and so it was ok. I didn't get the same impression of Bremner doing an impersonation of Nelson Mandela. So I think it takes your brain a couple of words/sentences to work out if this is a decent impression or a piss take etc. Remember also that Dara has done accents in the past. He jumped onto Flanagan's Romanian with his 'Count' impression. |

That's true but The Count is a character, I think he was impresonating the character as much as the accent (One peanut butter and jelly sandwich, ah ah ah!
) so it was OK When Nik Rabinowitz did the Xhosa African commentary I didnt know what to think at first but he seemed to speak it pretty well for someone taking the piss out of it ![]() Somehow its different when Micky did the Chinese or African teacher accents and Dara told him to tone it down or stop

They seem to have a habit of splitting the series nowadays. After tonight's episode, there isn't another episode until 5th September when the rest of the series continues (and finishes October time).

I think this is a dire show and further proof that little boys never grow up.

I watched Mock the Week last night and later on a repeat of 8 Out of 10 Cats and Rob Beckett was on both and on both he told the same 'Rupert' joke.

That was a stormer of a show - real nailed it and not much gladitorial stuff either - everyone had space to make gags. The "Scenes we'd like to see" was one of the best I've heard.

A lot of the 'comedians' take part in this and would not be available for filming. |

What is your favorite "Scenes We'd Like to See" across all series?

I particularly liked this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuOVLcw0PDU
"I've had all your mums..." - the delivery of that one makes it hilarious. |

There was one now fomer (thankfully) panellist who favoured using aggression as a substitute for humour.
