I'm not so sure. Why would he agree to do something that made him look like he couldn't take a joke or a bit of a git.

It's pretty much been a running joke on the show ever since even after Amstell left.

I remember him talking about it on UBB and it didn't sound stage managed at all.

The world was laughing at his wife... Preston would have had to walk off trains, buses, planes... just to get away from the sniggering!

No way was it staged. Thwy were taking the mick out of his wife and he made himself look a bit of a numpty for walking off.

Good for him a stood up for his wife but I did find it funny when someone commented saying "he thinks he's been voted out" I remember giggling at that.

Oh I loved that episode, Simon Amstell was truly on form.

I just watched it on YouTube and to be fair, Simon isn't actually nasty about Chantelle, he literally just quoted bits of her book which was hilarious, eg about the photo shoot for the Daily Mail making her feel upmarket! Lol

If you're going to flounce, at least do it in a sparkly platinum cardigan.
