Really great news everyone.

I cleared my history on my browzer to log myself off, and then logged in and it restricted me from viewing it because I wasn't in the US. Then I turned on my VPN and it would still not allow me to access, panic ensued. So I cleared my history again, turned on my VPN, and logged back in and it allowed me to access the live feed page again. Then I clicked off all the CBS pages, turned off my VPN and then went back onto the live feed page. It still allowed me to access the page! I think it only traces your IP address once - when you sign in. Therefore, once you have logged in - you can watch the feeds from anywhere in the world! Great news, VPNs are slower than our regular connections so we should have less problems.

Hi InMyArms,

What VPN are you using and is it difficult to set up?

Yesterday I followed the instructions in post #35, which got rid of the "no available in your location" message.

However when the feeds started at 5am BST, all I got was a black screen. Lots of people in US saying they have the same problem, so not just a geo-blocking issue.

Some people were saying another Firefox add-in, anonymox solved their problem, and it's solved mine too!

In Firefox do to
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/fir...ddon/anonymox/
Click Add to Firefox
Restart
Tools > Anonymox > Settings Panel > Country to US; clear cbs cookies
Restart Firefox and log in again.

No need to change your system clock to Pacific time (to get the feed working, but may have to do it to use Flashback - I'm still working on this.

If this doesn't work try Tools > Cookie Manager again; it may have set the country back to UK - change to US; check "Expires" box is unticked.

To help others, please report if this worked for you.

The same set-up lets you watch the TV shows on the CBS site (although Hola will do this too)
http://www.cbs.com/shows/big_brother/video/
as an alternative to downloading.
Looks like there's just one ad in the ad breaks.

If you're not techie and having trouble doing this, buy your friendly local tech-nerd-type-person a beer and ask them to do it for you!

Some peeps on Jokers saying the anonymox add-in slows the feed down to much. I've been monitoring mine, and it does pause to "catch up" sometimes, but not often enough to be a problem.

It is running better with the anon thing for me than it did with a paid VPN I was using. Plus with the anon thing I can use a separate browser to do stuff and it doesn't limit my download speed for other things

Could people type in if they've got the live feed running, and what method they used; also if you can't get it working - what are the symptoms? We might be able to brainstorm it for you.

I'm likin' the Highlights feature; I'll probably use Flashback rather less than usual because of it.

For those who don't want to sign up for live feed and just want to watch the highlight shows, no need to clear cookies or do anything else other than get Hola VPN (free).

Once on Hola, just click on the list of sites and you will see CBS as one of the sites, just ensure that unblocker is checked and click on the CBS site from within Hola. You will be able to catch up on any of the full episodes listed. No need to register or sign up.

That's all you have to do.

Anonymox is telling me internet speed is slow because I've "depleted my traffic limit" and wants me to upgrade to Premium. $5.89/month (c. £3.88). Anybody done it and is it faster?
