Baby bunnies

Hey looking for a bit of advice our bunny had 4 babies on the 22nd may and now all but one bunny has their eyes open I read on the Internet it should be between 12-14 days me wife's getting worried what would you suggest now taking it to the vets ?

I would say between 2-3 weeks they start wandering around with their eyes open..so wouldnt worry just yet..if in another few days still the same then maybe gently take him-her out of the nest and make sure their eyes arent sticky.....I used to show and breed french lops for over 10 years..

Please now get your doe neutered. There are far too many unwanted bunnies already. Neutering is also better for a doe's health - she will be less likely to get certain types of cancer.

Agree, and prolapse. Mine had babies, and then got pregnant almost instantly (there's a reason they're famous for it) and ended up with a major prolapse. We managed to save her but lost the second litter. Bad pet ownership was the only factor there, I'm ashamed to say. (It was 16/17 years ago, I've learnt!)

As for bunnie - you could try damp cotton wool on the eyes if you are really worried, but I'd leave it a bit for now
