I just didn't find him funny or even particularly talented to be honest. What I found particulary irritating was David Walliams and his well over the top praise of him - talk about cringeworthy and patronising.

Walliams was actually cringeworthy throughout to be honest, especially his so called love affair thing with Simon.

I'm so glad i'm not thw only one who doesn't find him funny, I cringed the whole way through his performance.
The thing is, I have great respect for him, but if an adult was doing the same "jokes" they'd have been buzzed off and certainly wouldn't have made the final.

He was patronised a lot.

They, Simon mostly, claim that these children who they fawn over are good 'whatever their age is' and that it isn't the 'aww' factor at work just because of their age. (Or in Jack's case his condition as well).

But I quite frankly don't believe that they're being honest when they say that.

I thought Jack was quite weak last night. In fact I really liked his first audition, I thought his second audition wasn't as good, and that he got progressively worse with his final performance.
I didn't laugh.

But yet I was laughing almost throughout Steve's audition. But where was his standing ovation from the judges who claim that their ages have nothing to do with it?

Never found him funny and tonight didn't change anything, I still don't find him funny.

I didn't think he was that good, but I think he's been the best comedian I've seen on this show. When I say comedian, I mean an act who is presented as a comedian.

Actually I've just remembered...does anybody remember that absolutely terrible Latvian comedian from a year or two ago who was so bad he was hilarious? Well I take back what I said and think that was probably the funniest comedian I ever saw on this show.

I just don't think Jack is ready yet. But I think he has something about his style which makes me think that in the future he could become very good.
But just not yet. I wish him all the best for the future though because I think he has potential.

"What with the ... and everything". "I have a condition".

Yawn. Scuttle off now Jack.

I wouldn't go that far. Give him time. I think he could get pretty good with some experience behind him.

I was quite disappointed that he didn't even congratulate Attraction and looked really sulky that he lost. The best he could come up with was "Well there you go". He could have at least shown some respect and goodwill to Attraction.
I get the feeling that people had been wrongly building up his hopes and feeding his ego behind the scenes, so that when he didn't win it got to him.

Jack's doing a stand up concert in Lourdes next year with no support.

I have not found him that funny apart from a couple of lines. Till the final and to be fair I thought he was rather good. Steve was miles better but can also see why the GBP went with Jack so no biggy in the long run. Just wish Steve got a better staring position (2nd last with that would have challenged Attraction) IMHO

I'm probably going to Hell, but that is funny.

You should audition for next year.

The judges in fits of laughter, he could have said 'My name Jack Caroll' and they would have laughed. I see he stole Amanda comment about Tom Jones but he changed the last bit to noded off, rubbish unfunny joke.

It sort of was already a bit like that.
Near the start he said something, I can't remember what, where he was just speaking generically in the build up to a joke and wasn't meaning to be that funny, but the judges were wetting themselves as though they weren't even listening properly, and were just creasing up before he could get the punchline out.

Of course it's sad he has this condition but he seems to be able to get on with his life. Just because he has it shouldn't make him automatically eligible to be the next big comedian. I think I laughed once or twice last night, he probably wouldn't have got through the semis if he was able bodied, whether that sounds harsh or not. He isn't terribly funny fundamentally, which you sort of need to be if you're a comedian!

This ^ He was awful but to be fair, he should never have been on the show - if it is about talent.

He's awful

Plus it doesn't help that he seems to think that every single thing he says, even if he's asked "hey Jack, how are you?" needs to be turned into a punchline.

Glad you noticed that. He originally came across as a bit arrogant, but put that down to nerves - tonight, though, he came across as a spoiled teenager - as soon as he was no longer the centre of attention.

No loss to the entertainment profession.

His comedy content was unbelievable for sure, it was non-existent. He is just a normal teenager of no discernible talent - with his ego inflated by patronizing judges.

The real shame is that he pushed out the much funnier vent act - Steve was robbed!

your post made me laugh more than Jack has done all series, that is exactly how it was, also with Francine they did the same , screaming with laughter when it was just cringy and very "unfunny". and not to mention the OTT praise they both got.. but with Jack i can see why as he is very young but there is no excuse why they did the same with Francine unless off course Cowell had promised her a place in the final and had to justify it by making out she was "hilarious"....

As others, glad I'm not the only one who found him deeply unfunny. Glad that he's doing something with himself, but he really needs a better attitude and better material. Also, some things which actually resemble jokes and aren't about a year out of date.

I don't normally watch BGT, catch the odd episode, but had seen this guy on various programmes during the week, so wondered what the fuss was. I'm still wondering!
