I can't believe Jack got further than Asanda did. Asanda blew him right out of the water. As usual, the voting on this show is laughable! Absolutely pathetic! I could shake the bloody life out of Cowell for his damn manipulation. There's an obvious reason as to why he put Asanda on very early. Sometimes he can be a right prat. This show is fairly being spoiled now. It's quickly turning into a complete joke! I'm thinking about whether or not to actually watch next year's series.

As were others.

I don't normally watch BGT, catch the odd episode, but had seen this guy on various programmes during the week, so wondered what the fuss was. I'm still wondering!”

Honest i have had more of a laugh at DS posts then the show last night!! Strange how both Jack and Francine got the most attention "promoting" themselves and still didnt win, she got 2 percent of the vote can you imagine if she had not got any promotion she would have been last im sure,.

I'm sure this is why he got as far as he did. I'd love to know how far he would have got had he not been physically disabled. As usual, a LOT of the viewers are absolute suckers for Cowell's manipulation when it comes to him making money from the votes. They haven't got a clue.

Brave of Jack to use his disability as part of his act.

A clip of one of his funnier gags --- HERE

Brave? No. Playing on it? Yes. Funny? Not a jot.

I'm watching his performance now on YouTube and I've already paused twice because I'm cringing so much. The introduction with "Oh! Am I on now? I didn't hear the introduction" (I think it was supposed to be a joke?) fell flat and then he ruined the joke about The Voice by actually mentioning it's name on air.

I agree, he could have said well done to Attraction or something

I don't think he was as funny last night as he was in the semi's. but I don't think anyone has the right to suggest that other people can't find him funny or that they only voted for him because he has a perceived disability.

And so what if his condition is incorporated into his act? All comedians draw on their physical and social imperfections to generate laughs.

As always the forums are full of those people that want to bring people down, as it is much easier to destroy than to create.

When he lost out, he said something like, runner up? thats a bit insensitive?

Anyway, I hate the fact that other acts much better than him did not get a standing ovation!

Simon Cowell isnt Simon Cowell anymore,
if it was a normal kid, he would have been laughed off at the first audition!

He did but it got sort of lost in the rest of the material. He said that someone told him he has 'funny bones' (a compliment sometimes paid to a comedian) and he responded 'no, it's a serious medical condition'.

I like Jack, but unfortunately I do not see the fuss everyone makes over him. His material was not that funny (if at all)

Ah, but deep down I'm sure he meant it. His reaction to being runner-up surprised me. Anyone would naturally be disappointed not to win but he was so rude.

Me thinks you take it all a little bit too seriously.

It's only a game show....

Maybe he thought he had to make a joke in that situation and not show he was disappointed, I dont know?
I have CP myself (though its quite mild, and maybe not as bad as Jacks) It doesnt always affect mental processes though AFAIK.

The only thing Jack's ever said that's really made me laugh what was I read in the newspaper a few days ago. He said that he feared he'd mess up during his final routine and YouTube would be inundated with auto-tuned remixes of the footage!
