I really couldn't understand the point of that.

War to celebrate Britain again? David Cameron?

Then some pictures of a Lion, the Queen over and again...

these guys can do so much and they wasted that on this?

Not good. A huge shame that the show ended on such a flat note.

It was still brilliant, but the other 2 were more emotional. They still deserve to win.

Im glad. Happy routine. None of the contrived emotions that had everyone here in floods of tears.

I like them after that.

Am I the only one who doesn't see it as a homage to Britain but a cynical attempt to win over the 'racist' British who wont want a foreign act to win.

Moving? I found it patronising

It didn't appear Happy. It was David Cameron (destroyer of economies) and Winston Churchill (famous for sending people to war and getting the Americans to win a war for us) who aren't the best example of what is good for the country.

I am sure some people think Churchill is a good example of Britain's best but he needed others to do that.

They're just fishing for votes. They should stick to good solid narratives - not celebrating Britain by highlighting how vicious we are as a country.

It's that foreign thing of trying to make themselves endearing to the British public by loving the Royal Family and the culture around it.

I am sure they don't want to do that and it is a shame they did.

I agree, acts like this are not moving at all but just patronising.

More to Britain than War and Royalty.

The last routine was a bit of a letdown. Not because it wasn't emotional but it didn't have a story which made the other two routines so good. It was just a lot of posing.

The judges did'nt agree with you.

They probably should've done this act in the semis, then saved their semis routine for tonight.

I'd love it if Steve won, but he was on too early.

Going into tonight, I wanted Attraction and Francine to be the top two in the voting. Now, I want it to be Francine and Steve.

I thought Attraction, Jack and Richard & Adam would be the top three, now I think Steve could possibly steal a place in the top three from Attraction!

You appear to have missed the fact I like Steve and that girl on the piano.

The thing that annoys me is that the general public fall for it. If someone get's a standing ovation they think "oh it was fantastic, they have to win now" It's sad how easily influenced people are.

I am sure the audience stood up for Steve. Maybe the judges didn't.

I agree unfortunately Steve was my favourite act of the night... however he may overcome being on early and may take the crown... who knows. I have my fingers crossed for him - I think he really deserves it.

Excellent post. There is far more to Britain than is seemingly shoved down the throats of foreigners.

Danny Boyle showed that.

Exactly. I also think Danny Boyle mocked the usual image given of Britain too.

Keeping my fingers cross for Steve - but think the Saturday night viewers may go for Attraction.

Oh no... they're going to do that weird routine again celebrating the really embarrassingly tragic factors of Britain's history.
