Now that he is the top three, can he make it as a top comedian?

I will say no because his material is bland.

Could do well on the circuit, panel show appearances.

He should do a blue act and tour with Chubby Brown.

Not sure how anyone finds his style funny. Completely unlikeable and his jokes are pretty poor

If Jack Whitehall can then Jack Carroll can

Definitely not sell out. Maybe a date or two scattered around in smaller venues, but even that won't sell out.

They already have.

Christmas cracker jokes will never make it as a full time proffesional.

Yes, but only if the venue was a portaloo

True, they are Christmas cracker jokes. It's a shame to be honest but nice to know he got his 15 minutes.

14 years old, writing his own material came 2nd in the biggest talent show in Britain. He's already half way there this guy will be a house hold name. A bit of guidance an agent and he'll be on his way to the top.

How is he half way there after doing 2 minute sketches with no actual jokes?

You should be ashamed of posting such rubbish.

He certainly has a future on the comedy circuit. For a lad of 14 his material isn't bad and he has a decent stage presence.

Give him a few years and he'll probably have quite a polished act with a decent following. He has potential and I say good luck to him.

I agree. The people knocking him wouldn't have the bottle to do it. Comedy is one of the hardest things to do and to come second is an achievement. Well done Jack , keep it up.

He's wise beyond his years and naturally funny.
But I don't know if he'll have a career in comedy.

The fact that he's only 14 seems to have escaped some people's notice.

I actually did an open spot in a comedy club once and died on my arse. Stand up comedy is a very, very difficult thing to do and this lad has just done it in front of millions of people on live TV at the age of 14.

He's far from being the finished article, but he already knows how to construct a joke and has a good presence on stage. In a few years time when he's older and wiser I expect his material to be markedly better and for him to become an established and popular act on the circuit.

He won't fill large venues, but he'll undoubtedly be a regular at places like The Comedy Store.
