Which of the finalists could do a sell out tour?

Particularly the children?

I think he's good. I don't know if he's good enough for a sell out tour, but I think he could get there in a few years. I don't think he's as bad as some people make him out to be, but then again I guess humour is subjective, after all.

Kabz, could do it but not sure. The rest, I can't remember anybody who could do it.

What he did for a 14 year old was good, yes, but he is not a comedian. Not even close. It's bizarre he gets the spot when this country is filled with young children who actually have talent.

I didn't see anything remarkable. I have seen far more funnier 14 year olds. Not sure why people were voting.

Because that's exactly what comedians do for many, MANY years - tiny slots on stage where they refine their act, make it better. Jack's already got great timing, stage presence and a fantastic understanding of the setup of a joke.

I've largely stayed away from DS Forums during this series because people get unbelievably nasty, but I seriously can't believe some of the comments on here tonight. For crying out loud, gang, he's just a 14 year old kid having a laugh on't telly. Give over.

I will say no because his material is bland.”

In a few years time maybe when he's had some experience behind him and written strong material.
So in the future, yes maybe.

I don't know how you can say that he's halfway there.
It's very very hard.

I think the difference between being a child comedian that did well on BGT and being a professional comedian in the real world out there is a very different ball game.

'Can Jack Carroll do a sell out UK tour?'

Not really - but he'd be a good 'warm-up man' at Stephen Hawking lectures.

Sorry but have to disagree, they are talking about them doing Vegas, i could see that happening, i imagine they have loads more acts to show, as for Jack doing a sell out Tour i cant see it at all.

As someone who has a daughter with CP who competes in disability athletics and having watched with pride the Paralympics last year I have gradually come to believe over the past year that maybe the Paralympics really has changed attitudes to disability. This post has just confirmed my worst fears - it hasn't!
