Am I missing something here, isn't it the GBP who have just voted them the winners?

Seems the majority have the say. Well done Attraction, loved all of your performances

Tbh it wouldn't surprise me if Cameron didn't give Simon a big back hander for taking them to the final..Big up Jack make him seem like the favourite. Choreograph a patriotic routine.

Great for EU foreign policy especially at the mo.

They were all white though so Cameron wouldn't dare touch them with a barge pole. They're obviously your typical former Soviet block stuck in the 60's racists.

More foreigners taking money from the GB pot of gold...
Oh ffs - the rules allow it and the BRITISH VOTERS paid for the votes to make them the winners. Why is that so hard to understand for some?

What is the point if they aren't British? It defeats the purpose of the show of the title.
Of course you are entirely correct. Britain has plenty of great talents in all kinds of things, but what kind of seriously talented person is going to want to go on this sham of a show, and even more humiliatingly be judged by the utterly untalented Amanda Holden. It's beyond parody, especially with a foreign winner.

If you want a decent job, you don't go to a job centre, and if you want to see new talent you don't gaze at ITV and this truly un-believable trash.

Wake up Britain and smell the coffee!

What is the criticism of them in this thread rooted in, though?

This thread was started PURELY because they weren't British.

Maybe not racism but at the very best it's xenophobic.
It's called Britains got talent. We obviously don't because they aren't British. That is the point. And I do like them as an act.

Seriously this is not at all racist as people are suggesting. But the title is Britains got talent, and the winners are not British. So clearly Britain does not have sufficient talent if an act can fly in from Hungary and win! Don't get me wrong, they were great, I just don't think it makes much sense that acts that are not even residents of Britain can win!

That's what I thought. British people paid to vote this the top act, winning 250K, over a disabled 'local' boy because they saw it as the best act. It shows how fair-minded the majority here are.
Only because he admitted to his disability in his final joke. The British don't like to admit defeat. We were once a powerful nation but now look at us. We resort to a bunch of aesthetic Eastern Europeans to stand up for us. I am no longer proud to be British after tonight's fiasco

They are not even resident in the UK? Jesus Christ, I thought they at least had residency to use as a claim in their favour. Stunning.

Voted to win by the British public I don't get what the problem is. If people really didn't want them to win they wouldn't have won . You may not have voted but other people in Britain did.

Plenty of people were saying before tonight they want Attraction to win and now they've won there's people annoyed that they won...

And here Attraction put on a very patriotic routine at the end especially for Britain . They did the London Olympics too.

I don't give a stuff whether they are British or not. They choose us to showcase their talent on and I'm so very glad they did. Well deserved winners.

for me it is not a matter of nationality, no-one here is saying that you have to be of british nationality to enter the show, however for a group who don't even live here to be allowed to come here from hungary and take home the money is wrong. it is called britains got talent because it is supposed to be about finding the best talent from within britain, if anyone is allowed to come from abroad just to enter the show then you have to question why the show is called britains got talent. this is not a criticism of attraction, there entry was within the rules, my criticism is of those who run the show allowing anyone from abroad to enter, it defeats the whole selling point of the show which is to find the best talent from within britain...

I watched a group of very talented people, who must have worked their asses off to impress the British public with their hard work. Who obviously love Britain as they dedicated their last act to us.

I didn't watch any effing entertainment invasion or was I sitting there thinking that a "brit" should have won.

Plus.. When I watch football (not that often I have to say), I do not kick off because the local defender is from Portugal. So why care about these talented people?

I think the talent in this country is just fine but the majority of people wouldnt want to go on this show and risk being made a fool of by Cowell and Co. By now most people have wised up to the way the show works, and every year it seems there are less naive volunteers to turn up.

I guess it depends on what makes you proud to be British.
I wouldn't say the results of a tacky talent show should have much to do with it normally, but the fact remains that British people saw this as the best act and voted for it, rather than a homegrown favourite.
It's that old British 'sense of fair play'.
I think a lot of people thought about what dear old Queenie would enjoy watching most, and voted accordingly.

This. I loved attraction, just think that maybe the show needs to be rethought! If its a show about finding an act for the Royal Variety show from anywhere in the world then that's fine but don't call it Britain's got Talent!

The title is just a way to distinguish between different international franchises.
It was probably only called Britain's Got Talent because America's Got Talent started first and America have to put America on everything. (American Idol anyone?)
If this show was intended for British Citizens only then it should have been part of the entry criteria. We shouldn't punish Attraction for winning. They've entered the competition fairly and won on their own merit.
