As far as I can see, people's main problem is with the conflict between the title of the show and Attraction's entry/victory.

So, surely the simplest is solution would just be to change the show's name to reflect what it's really about.

"Britain Showcases Talent"

or

"Britain's Got Talent (as does the rest of the world)"

Simples.

I think it's great. They are clearly lovely, hard working and humble, and why shouldn't they win? The rules allowed them to perform, and it's a tribute to us and the show that they wanted to be on it and show us their talent. They're very worthy winners.

If this show was intended for British Citizens only then it should have been part of the entry criteria. We shouldn't punish Attraction for winning. They've entered the competition fairly and won on their own merit.”

I really hope Attraction are not punished for winning, they adhered to the rules and won fair and square. It is what it is and they don't deserve a backlash.

I'd say the most talented person in this show tonight was the person who managed to get into the audience with a box of eggs and belt them at the judging panel. That took talent to get them past the frisking at the door! Shame it was just eggs.

Cowell will be smarting like a headless chicken in the back stage at the moment over that one, demanding answers, despite his brushing it off with the usual smirky aside. Those eggs spoke for the vast majority.

If the show was called Men Have Got Talent, and a woman won, people would be rightfully questioning it. It's not sexist, it's just illogical. This is the same thing. It's not racist or xenophobic, it's just illogical to call a show something that it is not.

If it was men have talent and a woman did win, people would question it. But since this is nationality, some people frightened to point out the obvious flaw in the title. It's not racist, it's just a fact.
