It might be a good idea for you to learn how to spell youself if you're going to criticise others. You've made yourself look a bit silly there and scored an own goal

I at least would have expected them to reside in GB.

That said I like most human beings regardless of race colour or creed and think they were very talented, and hope it helps the UK with a couple of extra points at the next Eurovision song contest.

British people enter talent contests in other countries don't they? There was a recent Brtish winner in Japan or somewhere. IMO Attraction were the best act ( I haven't watched it this series until last night's fnal) but if the final produed the best we can come up with then it's our own doing. The two brothers were good, but they will get a recording contract anyway I suppose. Jack Carroll is too smug and unfunny, and had he not had his health problems he wouldn't have got through the first round.

Totally and utterly wrong.

The show is called BRITAIN's Got Talent.

Only acts from Britain should be allowed to enter. It is an insult to Jack Carroll and the other homegrown acts that these foreigners (who apparently bombed in their own country) were allowed to enter.

What next? German people entering Sourkraut(sp?) on Britain's Best Dish?

Note - I do not actually watch B(N)GT, and with the dog (whose owner no doubt got the money despite having no talent herself) and the foreign winners have only steeled my resolve against it.

Oh dear. Going by your standards that must make you a complete idiot then. Own hat trick I believe.

And what are these other shows called exactly or do you just pretend that the very name of the show is the problem and whatever it's called just doesn't matter when it factually misrepresents itself.

The whole think stinks of Cowell's attitude (That's an attitude belonging to Cowell) of f**k what anyone thinks, I'll break any rules and misrepresent to the public whenever and however I wish.

And what has that got to do with the thread at all in any way?

You're Eurosceptic? Well i'll go as far as saying i'm totally against it. There really is no need for us to be in the EU, and we certainly shouldn't be abiding by their rules and regulations, which are mainly a pain in the ar8e.

As for the Eurovision, we won't win that, 'cos the voting is very political, and no one seems to like us in Europe. Us sending rubbish pretentious acts might have something to do with it too though.

My gripe is with a coupla' ppl having a problem with a non British act winning....not because of the rules of the comp' but 'cos they're foreign.
Perhaps the name needs to change, but whilst you may not have a problem with their nationality, there has been racist views spouted on here, and it's uncalled for.

Doesn't bother me, I think they were the best act. Better them then some boring singer, singers should stick to X factor or The Voice.

They were residents in the particular countries at that time. I remember the X Factor contestant interviewed and they were a student out there at the time.

The only issues are that:

a) theoretically somebody could fly into the uk, do an act fly home and never set foot again and win a show - or any of us as a Briton do likewise abroad, which seems a little peculiar.

b) only about 1/7 of the worlds countries are actually able to do that and the other 6/7 (Brazillians, Australians, Chinese etc) cannot, although that's presumably out of the hands of the show?

I think it would be better to limit it to only people who have talent. I'm not fussed about where they are from.

well deserved win

They deserved it. First two were superb, last nights was good but I'm not a massive patriot so felt a little shallow and them selling out for votes. That kind of stuff they can leave for Americas got talent, they'll lap it up.

Just glad a singer didnt win.

Yeah because the dog did all that himself without any training or guidance from his owner.

Anyway, why care if you don't watch it? lol

True, however if they did that there would probably only be enough performers for a couple of shows.

I am Eurosceptic but this is a talent show, nothing to do with politics, it was a good act and they deserved their win

I love Attraction, ;particularly their first 2 performances but thought last night's was a bit cheesy. I would have preferred a British act to win BGT but I don't vote and those who do chose Attraction so I can't complain..

My favourite act won. I'm pleased. Seriously, if a non british act is allowed to enter, they should obviously be allowed to win.

Why is this such a big deal? Most of the acts are british anyway so it doesn't really bother me.

The OP asked how everyone was feeling and jioscar has expressed how happy she/he is that Attraction won. What's the problem?

Technically yes, but I'm pretty sure Ryan Dolan is an Irish passport holder. Quite a few singers from Northern Ireland have represented Ireland at Eurovision over the years.

How? It's a valid point imo.

I liked Attraction and I'm actually happy for them, but each to their own, I do understand where others are coming from.
