There have been a couple of winners already though and it doesnt seem that remarkable to me - celebrity shows such as DOI, Strictly, CBB, IAC, tend to have mainly British celebs (usually a couple of Americans included) and programmes such as XF, BGT, BB also have mainly been British contestants in the past.
