Do you pay the same respects to Premier League football teams with foreign born players? Should only British born players play in British sports?

No, me neither. Where you were born doesn't seem to be the issue and nor should it be. It's where you actually live that is the topic of conversation.

Really? Because I have heard a lot of people complain that the winners were not from the UK!

God no. British born footballers are tactically and skillfully inept and complete *******'s too (think John Terry and Rooney).

Yes, because they don't live in Britain.

There's a difference between being born in another country but living and working in Britain rather than being born in another country and actually living there and not here.

Why oh why oh why is this so complex for some to get their tiny heads around.

It's so mind-numbingly simple: I'll even do it in big grown up writing for you:

BRITAIN'S (Meaning something BELONGING TO BRITAIN)

It is therefore misrepresentation and false advertising.

Change the name or the policy as both just can't exist with people with even a basic grasp of English.

The show is BASED in BRITAIN. The show contains mostly BRITISH acts. There is NO FALSE ADVERTISING. That would only apply if the show was called BRITAIN ONLY, HAS TALENT.

Not really, the show's title could easily mean - Britain's Got Talent On Their TV Screens.

It's like going to watch Horse of the Year Show and finding a couple of talented cows that can jump fences competing LOL!

You just wouldn't expect it would you.

Although I am glad Attraction won, as I've stated quite a number of times. I just find it odd given the title of the show etc Britain's Got Talent............are from Hungary. Just seems weird to me.

I saw the term BRITAINS as meaning the island of Britain, I think the people complaining mean that all contestants must be a resident of Britain to be eligible for the contest.

I'd rather they changed the name of the show, but after so many series, that would be most unwise.

Is that like the changes that were made the last like 5 series when foreign acts have got to the finals??

BTW I recognise you from the EDL and UAF threads. Hardly a surprise to see you in here now

Would that be our German Queen Elizabeth II that was born in Mayfair, London perchance?

Yeah,i'll be heading off to the Big Brother forum for the next 2 months shortly.
It'd better be a Brit that wins it,or there'll be trouble!.

They were entering a talent contest. If you class that as work, were Pre School working, or Asanda, Arixsandra?

I don't think a salary was being paid to them, just a prize for the winner of the talent contest.

I'm certain they aren't on a salary whilst they compete in a competition.

Edit! Just googled and no the contestants do not get a salary.

What about changing it to 'Are You Not Entertained?'.

The quote from Gladiator.
