Totally agree with this, especially the piece in bold.

She might get 15 mins of fame from this and a couple of interviews but I'd say her career is effectively over after that stunt.

Well personally I'd be more rather than less inclined to watch an event featuring the young lady in question as a result of last night's "performance".

Doubt if I'm the only one.

I doubt her career will be over.

She won't be hired to pretend to play an instrument on TV shows anymore but I imagine the people that employ her to play for real won't care and will continue to hire her.

I don't have the link, but I know the girls, and saved the blog on to my computer when Rachel originally published them. I don't want to copy and paste somebody elses work (I'm a writer myself) so will happily share the second part of the blog through PM. It's not formatted though - just the text.

I'll have the second part please.

How bizarre that anyone would think this was done for 15 minutes of fame.

Think a number of posters completely missed the main point in the blogs! Oh well Simon will be happy at least.Opium of the masses and all that

from the first part of the blog:

"Natalie (even less diplomatic than I am) proclaimed loudly that she felt as if she was about to be gassed in a concentration camp. I chastised her volume, but I knew what she meant. I felt like we were in the anteroom of the damned and to add to the Auschwitz vibe, we were addressed primarily by the serial numbers stuck to our clothes."

Gosh these girls are dramatic. Can't help but think having to hang around a bit and getting a number stuck on them is the worst thing thats ever happened to them

I agree.
I saw the Suffragettes (Grunge Girl Band) play a gig in Camden.
Their encore was "Wild Horses".

The blog is interesting, but it comes across as whiny.
They seem to think that because they are classically trained, their talent should be more appreciated by the show. Without reading the rest of the blog, I'm not sure where they have been treated so badly.

Natalie's actions were that of a selfish little brat. A complete lack of respect for the act that were performing, just so she could show the world, just how unfair the nasty man has been to her.

Pitiful.

They really do sound like the pretentious kind of 'I look down on everyone, no one is good enough for me' type of girls

At one point she was almost saying "omg the judges complimented us, that just topped the day off. How dare they think we want their opinion"
then part 2 was all boohoo they used caps lock on a letter

Not really buying BGT mistreated them, or Natalie had any right to disrupt the final like she did, sorry.

she had an issue with Cowell fair enough but what I found just unforgivable was standing in the middle of those guys totally ruining the chance they had it was total showboating on her part.
she didn't care about them yet people are supposed to care why she did it?

people have been done for common assault and If an egg hits someone in the face another charge is always a possible outcome.
Anyone who takes part in a Cowell production knows the level of manipulation production will add its the risk you take if you cant then don't enter.

How did she ruin their chance when they came third despite being 5th/6th faves?

No matter what the act they all deserved no interruptions this isn't just about that act its the principle.

Where is the rest of 'part 2' of the blog....there is a link to 'read on' which is dead...?

That doesn't answer the question though. How did her actions ruin the chance the Sandwich Boys had when they received an expected third anyway?

If anything, her action brought them attention that boosted their chances rather than destroy them.

Think before you post.

well they did very well to carry on and not let it affect them, but she didnt know they would react like that. They could have forgotten their words, stopped altogether, wrestled her, left the stage believing she was dangerous.

...tell that to the semi final acts who Simon and others interrupted with a loud buzzer midway through their performance..

...a smiling egg thrower is less of an interruption (as long as they aren't throwing the eggs at the act).

Hope the cretin gets egged wherever she goes. Really took away from someone else's moment there, disgraceful, disgusting and childish, they shouldn't let her off she should be charged.

That was their big moment though. I'm not sure anyone wants the highlight of their career to be gatecrashed by an intruder deflecting attention away from themselves.

Probably the right decision. If you still know the girls could you ask for permission?

I thought the first blog was very interesting. I can understanding why people are quick to dismiss the views as bitterness at losing, but I think the writer explained the groups position, and held up her hand to admit they made mistakes.

I do have a interest in the way "TV" lies and deceives, in order to make "entertainment"
