This bugs me.

He obviously has a decent female following. I reckon that they are they types of girls who wouldn't be seen with a ginger boyfriend, but yet find him ever so attractive.

And why is the UK one of the few place in the world to have issue with people and ginger hair? Most places in the world it is seen as an attractive quality.

I'd been seen with a ginger haired boyfriend, don't see why hair colour would put someone off dating someone else. Ed gorgeous.

But in general a lot of people have a problem with it.

Yes, I don't know why they do. From my personal point of view its not something I find a problem, if the guy got a good personality and I'm attracted to him that's all that matters

Because they all lust after Chesney Brown ?

They find fame attractive. Before Ed Weasley got a record deal, girls would have passed him on the street without giving him a second look.

They have a problem with someone's hair colour?

Now what does that tell you about them? I mean seriously in a adult non-chav type way?

He's a good singer songwriter and seems like a nice guy (i.e down to earth and not up his own arse). I like him, he's the kind of person I'd be friends with.

A few of my family are red heads so I think it's a nice hair colour. I don't get why 'ew, ginger' is a thing.

None of these statements are true.

I can't say I find Ed Sheeran attractive but that's not because he's ginger.

Damian Lewis on the other hand...

Agree. He seems like a laidback nice guy, and he's a brilliant songwriter/singer

Agree with both points. Damian Lewis is gorgeous, Ed isn't but then I'm probably old enough to be his mum

I've always liked ginger hair. I don't think it's that girls find him attractive now that he is famous; rather that they aren't afraid to say so.

John Arne Riise is as ginger as they come but his six pack makes up for it.

If anything, my red hair gets me too much female attention. This has only been the case for the past 3 or 4 years though. So it has got more mainstream.

There are people who are really nasty about folk with red hair, but usually they're just horrible bullies with their own self esteem issues. Certainly not the type of folk you could enjoy a pint with.

Okay well, to me, he seems like a easy going guy and I think some of his songs are good. I thought it was pretty obvious my post was an opinion but maybe we should all begin posts with "In my opinion," in future.

Only children of school age have a problem with ginger hair. If you are past that age and still can't get past the colour of someone's hair, then it's about time you grew up.

I love Ed Sheeran's music but i don't find him attractive, cute maybe? Toby Stephens on the other hand is my absolute favourite ginger, yum!

Toby Stephens and David Caruso are red, not ginger.

I have no problems with a persons race or religious views and deplore any form of discrimination.

But in the case red hair I am prepared to make an exception.
