My wife has just dropped her White iPhone 4 and it's cracked the front glass.

How easy is the repair and what do I need to get it like new? I've seen stuff on eBay that seems to have digitizers included and tools too.

I'd like to get an original replacement if necessary. The screen still works by the way.

If your thinking of doing it yourself then I'd suggest looking at some screen replacement videos on YouTube first to see if its something you wish to proceed with.
The only other advise would be to see if there's any local mobile phone repair shops around or take a visit to an Apple store(which is probably the most expensive option)

Does it need the digitizer or not? Any idea?

Even thought its just the glass that's gone is it worth getting the digitizer in order to make the repair as easy as possible to achieve?
