SE K700i / 02
Definately on Watchdog next Tuesday.
I've had a call from a researcher, after mailing my rather forthright views on the SMS problem through the Watchdog website. Roll on Tuesday ... hope Watchdog bites their arse ! |

Looking forward to that, I'll set a task on my new S700i that O2 replaced for a K700i last week....... but trust me, it wasnt easy to get it out of them. I ended up talking to the Chief Exec and told him that O2 were in breach of contract as the Product is not fit for service.

Oh dear.
I was just going to order the K700i but on PAYG with Orange. Is the problem specific to O2 or the phone?

The way I got through to O2 when I had problems was sending them a letter. I write a very snotty letter and I emailed it to them on the hour every hour, faxed it a number of times, sent copies in the post and also to my local O2 store... In the end I got through to the most helpful woman called Katrina. She was most helpful, sorted my problem and organised me a new handset.

What problem?
I have had a K700i and also now a S700i both on an o2 online contract and had no problems with sms. Had a few with MMS but that seems to be a problem with different phone different networks. |

been on the phone to o2 myself today and got an extremely nice girl who has placed my order for a replacement for (getting the S700i), just waiting on an email with my order number and I should get it in 5-7 days, obviously have to return my dodgy K700i by recorded delivery though

I tole them that I had talked to Sony Ericsson and aparently SE have told them that until the problem is resolved O2 should stop selling this product as its not fit for service. As its not fit for service O2 are in breach of contract. Let me know how you get on. |
