I'd take cover if I were you!!
I'm regretting posting it now. Or at least should have added a warning.

Personally I would never ever ever do that to one of my pets. I have a cat still.

I'm glad you posted it. It's bloody hilarious!

And for the people moaning. This thread was started in GD but it got moved here. It wasn't meant to upset any pet owners.

A friend of mine's dog died and she was taking with a friend to a place for it to be cremated, they were struggling to get the heavy suitcase off a tube train when someone stole the case from them. They never found out what happened to the ex dog.
OMG what a shock they'd get when they opened it.

What a sick individual. He really cared about his cat - not! When my sweet and beautiful boy goes, I would NEVER ever think of trying to "lighten the load" by watching a video of another dead pet. I seriously doubt that a parent of a dead child would watch a video featuring a dead kid or visit a site with 'jokes' about dead babies for some emotional relief either.
Interesting analogy.

Blossom24, you are right about them being small minded and sad. I do wonder what the moderators would do if this were a thread about dead kids. It would more than likely be gone by now. Before jumping down my throat for comparing dogs to kids, please tell me what makes humans more important.

Moderators: Please delete it now!
No mods, don't. Why should it be deleted cos one poster wants it to be. I've enjoyed reading it.

You could always get it stuffed. I understand that quite a lot of people do this.

There was a woman who lived near me some years ago who had two dogs which died of old age within days of each other. I think that at the time I assumed that the death of the first had actually caused the death of the second. Anyway, she took them to a taxidermist and asked for them to be stuffed. "Do you want them mounted?", he asked. She thought for a moment, and replied, "No, I don't think so. Side by side will do nicely".

To anyone wondering what do with a deceased pet: contact a vet who will advise on a respectful disposal. For people in receipt of certain means-tested benefits, the PDSA will help you.

Love the fact this was moved to the pets thread, someone, apart from Vosne has a great sense of humour. Wonder if the mods had a wee laugh to themselves while moving it.

I like to give mine a Viking funeral, so I put my dead mutt in a long ship, float it down the river then set fire to it. Fun is had by all

I couldn't agree more, you and I obviously feel the same about dogs!

Sorry for spelling your name wrong earlier x

I would, Vosne and I regularly make popcorn and then converse with how to bury an infant

In all seriousness, burial, cremation, or, if you're of a Victorian sentimental mindset ...

After making this thread I got vosne stuffed. He now lives on my writing desk as a paperweight.

What a waste, should have got him an engine, propellors etc and made a Vosnecopter.
