can anyone advise me the following, i have a new iphone 5 delivered and my contract has been renewed, i have been with o2 years. My old sim is still working in old phone (galazy ace). I want to sell the iohone as its unwanted i havent activated the sim, and o2 said as long as i dont then the old one will still work ok (its s normal sim) The iphone is unopened etc can i just sell it ?

There's no reason why you can't. It belongs to you as O2 have given it to you in return for you committing to them for a further 24 months.

If you didn't want it then why did you get it though? Why didn't you just go on to a cheap 12 month SIM only contract?

I wanted to be able to sell it and use the cash, i like my old phone so am happy to pay a little extra for my cntract.
my concern is does the phone only able to use with my sim, if i sold it on ebay would there be any issues like my serial number on phone just being with me, they can use it ok right as i read that ATT phones can only be used to whom registered too

is sit safe selling on likes of ebya etc ? I wish it was like a car regards imei number, i asusme my address etc is held on this number ?
