Anybody agree?

I won't be updating and will be reconsidering what tablet and phone I buy in the future.

I shall judge it, when I get it.

I really like it.
Can't see how it's a total copy tbh.

Too little too late....

Apple are running low on innovation nowadays.

Sony Ericsson spoiled there produces when they ditched the cyber shot and Walkman range. That's when I left and I may do so with Apple too.

What's the alternatives? The new blackberrys look decent?

No, not sure how it can be a copy of Windows and Android as they are both very different from each other.

Looks like a decent refresh to myself.

My first reaction to the picture shown by DS was pretty much the same as when I first saw Windows 8

It looks like a cheap feature phone.

Really not sure about it yet - may look better in real life.

It looks much 'cleaner' now IMHO. And I used to be a fan of the skeuomorphism in the past. But that looks so dated now.

It's not ugly, but it's certainly MASSIVELY unoriginal....

Font/icons and other features stolen from Android
Lock screen and other features stolen from Windows Phone...

Once again Apple is imitating not innovating. If this was supposed to be their "big update" then I'm not really impressed at all and I was expecting something from Apple given that they've been working on this for some time. They don't have the spark they once had.

I dunno just looks like it's aimed at women and kids. Very girly looking. Euughhh. It's for the party girls hehe

Saw the still shots. Thought it looked awful.

Have since seen the demo video, then it made sense. I'm not a lover of change, but think this looks an OK update. I'll certainly apply it when available.

What do you expect from a company who are now looking at making watches and cheap plastic iPhones?

Apple no longer means premium. This era now Steve jobs is not around may see Apple lose its popularity. The OS is awful.

The pink starry background makes me laugh, plus the font does look like Android's but rounder and more feminine. I'm not keen on the overly white colour either. They should have made a black version of the theme, I'm surprised they didn't copy that from Windows Phone as well.

Seriously looks like a fisherprice 'my first smartphone' ui for kids. With a dash of my little pony/barbie doll theme. How cute!

its an improvement for existing users, but other than the free (with ads) Radio service, I'm not sure what advantage it would offer over Android.

Exactly my thoughts.

For once I have to say Android looks better. Even if similar the colours are nicer!

The main font already exists in iOS6, it's just been made thinner.

I knew there was a reason it reminded me of Windows 8
