Do we switch or stick to IOS6? Apple has clearly lost it.

What is wrong with iOS7? All I have seen are a few screenshots. Far too little to make an informed decision.

It's only a matter of time before somebody calls iOS7 childish and duplo
For what it's worth I find iOS now dated. It reminds me with its excessive faux structures of 70s clothes.

Only if they try to fob it off as a Desktop Operating System.
Duplo slates anyone? Just kidding, I will probably enjoy my iOS products more with the update after this one (they need to refine their icons). |

To much apple hate IMO, I was with android for a year and so happy to be back, I'm unlikely to ever revert back to the poor mans iOS ever again

I prefer iOS to Android on tablets by a mile. I still think that the Playbook OS is better than Android on a tablet.
My only concern with Apple is what have they broken this time? I'm not a fan of fancy little tweeks especially if all it does is bloat the OS and slows the thing down. One reason why I still prefer Windows XP on my computer, it starts quick and it doesn't get in the way of me doing what I want. |

Saying that, I really do like the rest of the new iOS look. So fresh and how I imagine a piece of high tech equipment should look. I was never a fan of a writing app looking exactly like a piece of notepaper or games app looking exactly like a casino table. Just a personal preference of course. |

I switched livewallpers off on my tablet. It's a great effect for showing off of course!

This is what does put people's backs up. The strange fantasy that Apple products are somehow exclusive and for the rich!
![]() Exclusivity ended when everybody and their dog got an iPhone. But we may get there again

Silly question.
I have an iPad 3. Will OIS7 be free and automatically downloaded onto it.? In the Autumn, I think?. |

Io7 should look pretty decent on iPad from what I've seen. Some of the paddies that android 'fanboys' are getting into abou this being the end of apple and the world as we know it is nonsense.
