I watched it for weeks last year not realising that it was the 2011 series being shown! There was one particular act in 2012 that I'd watched a clip of online and wanted to see again. After weeks of waiting, I looked up the series online and was perplexed as to why they weren't even listed. Eventually, I found the list of finalists from the previous year, recognised a few names and it suddenly clicked!

Yes - ITV 2's America's Got Talent is a year late!
They are showing the 2012 series with 3 judges - Howie Mandel, Howard Stern and Sharon Osbourne.
The 2013 America's Got Talent is being broadcast now (Ep 1 so far) with 4 judges - Howie Mandel,
Howard Stern, Melanie Brown (Mel B - ex-Spice Girl) and Heidi Klum.

That explains why it says Series 7-Episode 1 but underneath it says Series 8 with 4 judges...confused the hell out of me

The talent on show is amazing , even the auditions are better than the talent on show in our LIVE shows . imho../
I imagine that ITV2 didn't have the rights to the first series of AGT until a year after its broadcast and, not having the scheduling space to show two series in one year (they need room for all that Celebrity Juice and Peter Andre's ventures!), they're not able to catch up.

I love this programme, the talent seem more extreme than ours - the good are 100x better and the bad are 100x worse!
