Ever get the feeling that this former children's TV presenter may be next to be arrested?

What a grade A muppet, when Roache said his little piece sometime ago I remarked that he was getting his defence in place, feel exactly the same about odious Irons.

An arrogant ignorant pratt

Roache also defended others who had been accused of such assaults before he was arrested.

Maybe, I do get the feeling that he has his fair share of skeletons in the closet and some of the things he's been saying recently are bloody stupid.

That thing he said about his son was gross as well. I wonder how much he's like the father?

"I remember when my son was 12 and he was like a god. He just went through that sort of golden time for about 18 months. I don't have a daughter but they do the same."

"Parental love is sexual. Children practice on their parents. Girls will flirt outrageously with their fathers because they are practicing. We should know that it is practice. Boys will flirt outrageously with their mothers in a different way."

^^That one and so many more. I wonder why he keeps returning to this topic?

Mr Irons said 'there is a blanket term for child abuse, and if the worst think you have done was put your hand on someone's thigh under their skirt, that may be sexual abuse, but it's not like buggering a nine-year-old boy.'
From April:
"Could a father not marry his son?" Irons asked HuffPost Live host Josh Zepps. Irons argued that "it's not incest between men" because "incest is there to protect us from inbreeding, but men don't breed," and wondered whether same-sex marriage might allow fathers to pass on their estates to their sons without being taxed.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...n_3009495.html

From 1998:
This week, he continued his assault on kneejerk moralising by suggesting, after a screening of the film, that some victims of paedophilia go on to have a perfectly happy life: 'I'm not saying it's right but we shouldn't whip ourselves too much.'
http://www.jeremy-irons.com/press/archive/10.html

Back in 2005:
Paedophilia should be treated as a disease, he says in a BBC interview to be screened next week. But it must also be recognised that children are attractive and that parental love has a "sexual" element.

"It is very difficult because children under 16 are immensely attractive," he says. "Any father will tell you. I think our children have to be protected. But I don't think we need to have hysteria."
"I remember when my son was 12 and he was like a god. He just went through that sort of golden time for about 18 months. I don't have a daughter but they do the same.

"Parental love is sexual. Children practise on their parents. Girls will flirt outrageously with their fathers because they are practising. But we should know that that is practice. Boys will flirt outrageously with their mothers in a different way."
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education...edophilia.html

"Sometimes, and there is no doubt about it, children go through the most extraordinary transformation around puberty, where they become enormously attractive. Rather like a rose on a summer's morning that suddenly breaks out with a freshness that even by midday is gone. If we deny that, we are not looking at life with open eyes.

"And nature has a purpose for that.

His publicist really should be banning him from opening his mouth, unless he's acting.

Preferably he wouldn't be on the screen at all. He looks so awful nowadays - smokes like a chimney no doubt to get so wrimkled.

These quotes aren't him saying there's a witchhunt ,or an over-reaction to historic events,or that values were different decades ago-which is what id expect him to say.

It appears that he's saying he finds young teenagers attractive. YUK!!

You would think that with all the recent focus on this kind of stuff, most celebs have been advised to say nothing, or if they must say something, to clearly and concisely condemn abuse. Irons is either extraordinarily naÔve or utterly reckless.

He is an arrogant shit! I remember when he was at an airport and gave a photographer a verbal bashing. If it was not for photographers he would not be famous.

He defended that filthy film he was in called Lolita.

If he gets questioned.............oh the irony..he was on a Saturday kids programme called Play Away!
