really they said they are working on it and new sw is imminent
Theres a certain amount that YouTube can do remotely to make the app work. Anything beyond that will require a software update to ressolve other remaining issues.

Is that on a "to do" list with 4OD and Demand 5?

So how's YouTube working since the latest update this afternoon?
On my way home soon to have a look myself.

Ok nevermind, I've just checked and yes the videos play fine but the 'Loading' issue remains.

So are you saying you don't have 'Loading' constantly flashing in the middle of the screen while videos are playing?

No different on mine, still got the constant loading icon. Just spoken to two people with the 1000s, they have just tried YouTube and guess what, yep, constant loading icon.

P.S. we all have the new .54 software. What's it supposed to fix, certainly not YouTube.

At least the endless scrolling confusing recordings planner has been fixed, now scrolls a page at a time, easy to follow now.

Indeed. YouTube is now playing videos again including VEVO music videos, however the text "Loading..." still remains and flashes in a random manner.

Off topic the "Delete series" button in the action menu is a MAJOR time saving improvement.

A beautiful HD full screen picture, plays perfectly all through. But the constantly flashing LOADING... caption (in capitals) right in the centre of the screen is ridiculous!

At least 4OD is finally working.

Glad that the "Loading..." message will be fixed tomorrow, I can then use the app more without having to go to the PS3/ROKU to watch YouTube.
