Ta avasgranny, wee Hunter has perked up a bit again, he has his ping pong ball going, I steeped it in a bit of water with tap safe first as I do..lol he shares a tank with a bristlenose plec, has done for over a year, he did have a couple of guppies last year too, but he had a penchant for murder of course, I think he misses the thrill of the kill, jeebies

The bristlenose puts him in his place if he gets too out of order. I think my partner will be taking the plec so hunter can live longer alone, in saying that I have a source of live worm food that will keep hunter in amusement during his last months
Loved the article on Betas in the practical fishkeeping magazine lately. Yep bet he loved the guppies. Poor wee things.

It was waiting for him on the landing earlier. Scared him half to death.

My two have just been freed from prison (thier crates) and are down stairs playing, all I can hear is the litter latter of feet on the wooden floor, so I'd guess they are running up and down! The cat is sat here looking at me indignantly.

I haven't seen either of our cats since I came downstairs, so I assume they are both still on our bed fast asleep dreaming of mice and stuff.

One is stretched out on the sofa snoozing and snoring, the other is chewing my skirt as I sit typing this - actually that isn't such a good idea Betty will be chewing a toy any second now !

In his usual 'sentry' position at the back door, looking out over his territory (the garden)

Mollie is asleep in her safe quiet place and Betty is trying hard to kill squeaky duck, in a really quite demented manner, sadly duck seems to be winning so far
