Both cats sitting on the windowsill glaring at the rain and occasionally looking round at me in disgust as if to say "Make it stop! It's bern 4 days!" Whippet, predicably, is crashed out on the couch.

Well, 5 days after my previous post, nothing has changed.
All four of my cats are asleep in various places....

They do move about sometimes, really they do!!

Brooke is having a wash on my lap again, after a full day that started at 5:10am with her bringing a live magpie into the house Luckily for magpie I got madam out of the way and it was well enough to fly off once I got a window open!

Sparky is chasing a fly all around the flat , he hasn't got a chance in Hell of catching it lol.
I've seen Brooke catch flies several times - probably a certain amount of luck though
If you're wondering what they do if they catch a fly - she eats it. Must be like a sweet them them

Cat just charged in at full speed from the garden, leapt onto the arm of the sofa, stared at me intently, meowed a few times and ran off.

She might just have been

I don't know why I get so bothered about flies landing on Izzy's food - she's always chasing, catching and eating them whole

My boy is through in my utility room ignoring me. I am babysitting for my sons cats and kittens. The tom is "whole" and has been spraying in his mums house which I obviously have picked up as I have been cleaning it up. My lad is soooooo hacked off with me now.

My cat is sleeping at the bottom of my bed curled into a ball.
This is what my Emily is doing. In between giving me dirty looks as she wants. Me to turn the light off and telly off too lol. She has been in bed all day due to the rain lol. She is a lazy cat. She gets so giddy when my fella gets in from his night shift! She loves sleeping on his feet

One cat is asleep on the shed roof. One cat is sleeping on the neighour's front lawn. Bunny is at full stretch asleep in his run. Dog is next to me on sofa - asleep.

Shed cat is one of the cats my cat hoarding ex neighbour abandoned last month. Oh and another of the cats she dumped we had thought was feral turns out to be tame although won't come in the house - is very affectionate outside. She is living in my bike shed where she sleeps on a bale of hay.

One of my cats is asleep on our bed, the other is asleep on a garden bench, though probably sleeping with one eye open as there are usually a lot of birds in the garden. He doesn't try to catch them, thankfully, just likes to watch. The neighour's cat who practically lives with us is asleep on the mat here in the living room.

I love having pets around, it would seem strange without other living creatures in the house. Well, I do have a husband but you know what I mean.

keeping his head down and staying away from me after misbehaving on the park this morning. It was one of those walks where you come home feeling like the most terrible dog owner in the world after being shouted at by other dog owners for not being able to control your pet. He and the other dog I walk each morning just decided to completely ignore me today and one of them ran and barked at another dog, provoking a lot of abuse from the owner about my 'vicious' dogs who should be on a lead. They're not vicious, but I walk my friend's lurcher each morning and she has a habit of running past dogs and barking very loudly before settling down. Also if another dog sniffs her bum she turns round and barks in their face. The man who had a go at me was very aggressive and it frightened me a bit. He was only sticking up for his pet but he knows my dogs and knows it's all talk with the lurcher.

My cat is spread out between my keyboard and the monitor. He's already knocked something off the desk by stretching out more.

My cat is sprawled under the dining table as it appears to be cool and dark. I wish I could this heat is doing my head in. Not a not weather person.

My dog is soaking wet (hosed her down!) and is crashed out on slate floor, too hot for her,
my cat has done her yearly thing of buggering off, I really hate it when she's out all night,
but she's always done this when its hot.
