Aww shame Alex had to go, but he still managed to entertain me to the bitter end.
Was great to see some fire out of Leah again, though her awkward smile during the pitch with Alex making all the noise made me laugh.
Luisa is back to being annoying as she's great at playing the 'Apprentice game' tactics better than anyone by dodging tasks that would put her in danger.

Luisa overtakes Myles as my least favourite. It's clear to me she's playing a bit of a nasty game, with the way she treated Jason last week and Francesca this week. Myles remains continuously low, he really should have been fired this ep. I still can't warm to Neil, no matter how competent. Alex and Leah I feel a little lukewarm about. Francesca gets my sympathy this episode, despite for the second time in a row being the weak part of the team. Jordan seems to have lost the smugness and is the only one apart from Neil to be showing real business potential - my new favourite now that Jason's gone.

Neil has been my favourite since about week 5, while him and Jordan are the only two candidates to show any real competence imo. Alex is high in the list due to this entertainment value, while I'm fairly neutral towards Fran and Leah (just about worked out which is which lol). Luisa and Myles are both nasty manipulators, hiding behind a sugary façade. Myles should have been fired this week.

Here's an overall list for week 9, using the average scores (in brackets) from all of the lists posted so far.

Jordan and Neil are the most favoured candidates, topping two lists each, while Myles is least favourite, averaging significantly lower than the others and being put last by three people, and second to last by the other two who've posted. Luisa was ranked least favourite by one poster. Alex seems to be a bit of a marmite character, coming top of one list and bottom of another! Leah and Francesca are firmly middle-of-the-road characters, coming in in the middle of the pack.

The girls really did well as a unit while the guys were pretty embarrassing.
Despite liking Luisa now I'd still be disappointed if she won based on her attitude earlier in the process.
Poor Jordan, though I really wanted him to barf on the boardroom floor, bring some colour to it.
Myles was poor as PM but proved he's a decent person after getting fired.
Neil is just really arrogant and bland, but he's an okay performer in tasks. Karren forever championing him is getting on my nerves though.

Myles's firing was long overdue and I'm satisfied he's gone now. Neil seems to lack any depth, and I'm on Jordan's side with the vase debacle, both Neil and Myles buckled it and it was a poor display considering they told Jordan to go for the risky strategy. The three girls at the moment are pretty much tied. After two episodes of me disliking Luisa quite strongly I actually think she did well this episode, in both business and likeability dimensions. A good team leader.

Luisa really shone this week but I can't completely forgive her for her previous behaviour. Jordan really sank to join Myles at the bottom - both seemed completely out of touch of what normal people would buy - plus his business plan sounds like he's intending to ride on the work of his mysterious software engineer business partner. Leah and Fran must have really good business plans to still be in as I can't remember either of them really standing out so far - looking forward to next week to finally find out! Myles was the right person to be fired this week.

Well that certainly cleared them out a bit.
I won't begrudge Luisa the possible win, but I would think back to when I couldn't bear her and think 'what the hell!!!'.
Was good to see Leah do so well, I really wanted someone to really impress at the interviews and be sure of themself with no messing around.

It's a sad, sad occasion that Luisa becomes my favourite candidate, however she has recovered well from her terrible behaviour and I certainly hope she wins over Leah. I was frustrated with Jordan in the interview round seeing as he was clearly the most intelligent performer on the tasks, causing him to drop a place. After initially liking Francesca she seems to have slipped into middle-of-road meh-ness. I don't think Leah had done enough to merit a place in the final but she did have the better business plan, but I can't warm to her at all either. I'm so glad Neil's gone. Without getting too Freudian about it, it's clear the guys got issues that he needs to sort out. His insufferable arrogance clouded any potential he could have had as a business partner, and his constant need to come across as a hard-nosed businessman caused him to be devoid of any personality. In a way, I was glad his arrogance was his own comeuppance, hopefully he'll learn a thing or two from it.
