custard fudge.
i`m looking for a specific recipe i had years ago i think from an ancient cook book that came with a 1930`s/40`s gas cooker [maybe parkinson cowan] or the back of a birds custard powder tin.
it was a condensed milk fudge with custard powder and the texture of tablet. i can only find the american version which is totally different and made with syrup. |

As long as the chocolate fudge cake doesn't have any icing on top of it, then I love to have custard on top of my fudge cake!
(If there is any icing on top of the fudge cake, then I don't like the custard ruining the icing).
