We have put together some data about how the film catalogues for Netflix and Lovefilm compare in the UK. There's surprisingly little overlap between the two.

If there's interest we can put together more data e.g. comparing with BlinkBox, so let us know what you think.

If you'd like to try Tank Top Movies the invitation code JUNE13 will get you in.

While I'm posting: we'd love to find some folks who use on demand services to participate in our user panel and help us make Tank Top Movies even better, so if you've got a little time to spare for a chat on the phone, or even come and see our office, please let us know!

Thanks,
Liz

Kewl...Netflix had four movies available in 1970..the year I was born.

The trouble is when you factor in Unlock-UK Netflix looks a lot better option, a pound a week extra for sure but the extra content...worth it IMO.

Irrespective of whether one uses a DNS service to access other Netflix libraries, it is worth getting both Lovefilm UK and Netflix UK, especially if you grab a Lovefilm deal, of which a few have been wandering around lately.

There are still a few films and TV shows which are only only Lovefilm, despite all the other additional Netflix libraries.

In any event, I also recommend Tank Top Movies, for best results, try it on a tablet on the sofa! I usually find browsing for films a chore, but Tank Top Movies actually make it fun!

Hey thanks ovbg!!

We have also done a Netflix / Blinkbox comparison.

These comparisons just look at films but I'm hoping we'll find time to also look at the size & quality of the TV show catalogues.
