microchips
hi,I had both of my dogs microchipped last year. Last night, at the vets for their boosters, he scanned them. One was fine but he couldn't find the chip in the other, despite scanning her all over.
Can they stop working? I know when they were first done, they were working. Or is it possible that it's somehow worked it's way out. Either way it looks like she needs another one |

Nine times out of ten it is due to migration so you need to make sure they are scanned all over

Our oldest dog has gone through three, the first two just vanished or stopped working.
I always get my dogs scanned regularly now ![]()
