Kurt was great on YF
I'm so sad that he's left....
![]() He was so funny and charming on Apprentice You're Fired. And he seems like such a sweet guy - the way he made the jokes about his recycling chair idea showed that he's got a sense of humour and can make fun of himself. He was so articulate and enthusiastic about business and his anecdotes. And he knew his conversions! I was shocked how different he was on YF and on the actual show. I really wish he showed more of this jovial personality in the actual show. If he showed as much enthusiasm and charm on the show, he could have won it. It was his nerves that cost him in the end. Btw why is Claude always so scary?

I didn't think he seemed all that different. He was being very defensive, whereas Natalie was laughing about herself and generally came across better.

I was mesmerised by his eye-rolling, I think he even did it to Claude. Seemed a bit rude to me but I wondered whether it was more of a nervous habit than anything else.

I do hope you're kidding, he was the opposite of "charming." In fact, I'd say he came across the worst of the fired candidates, the rest of whom I've actually warmed to by the end of YF (hell, even Zee). Oh and his interview with Matt Edminson just reaffirmed my opinion of him. What a humourless man.

I think he was ok on YF. Most candidates don't tend to be very defensive but he was and it was interesting seeing his side of things (as obvs the edits can be bias).
He seemed quite bored on Awkward Conversations though. But I thought the questions he got asked did seem a bit personal and awkward (and not in a funny way). I liked the eye-rolling lol. But that's probably because I do it a lot myself.

Yes, Natalie laughed about herself, but to my mind that was because she had so few positives to seize on, she could do little else. |

I don't think he particularly came across as defensive. I think he did try to justify himself (which isn't necessarily the same thing) but I quite liked that. He didn't do it in an obnoxious "I was so made a scapegoat of" type of way but he made a fairly reasonable point whilst accepting that his reasoning went tits up on the day.
Yes, Natalie laughed about herself, but to my mind that was because she had so few positives to seize on, she could do little else. Oh and Natalie's section was abysmal. Note to Natalie, the dumb ditzy woman character is sooooooo last decade. It doesn't work anymore. Try a new trick love. |
