#7 in the UK!

I love the new album, it's classy and soft.

Anyone else heard it?

It's dull as dishwater and bereft of upbeat songs.

I disagree, some songs are a bit dull I guess, How You Kill Me & Made of Glass are my faves right now.

I hope there's someone who likes it here...

I listened to a stream of her new album yesterday despite never really being a fan. It sounds pleasant enough but I did find most of the songs quite dull and not very memorable I'm afraid. On another note, I had no idea until yesterday that she's about to turn 38 (!). I thought she was about 10 years younger than that.

I love Feel It All as it is the most commercial sounding song on the album. I prefer her poppier albums like Eye To The Telescope and Drastic Fantastic.

She can wrap it up however she wants, stating it's about her losses etc but it's pretty obvious she's just lost the knack for writing any songs with a half decent hook.
I've played it five times and I have nothing from it stuck in my head and couldn't bring any of the songs to mind if I tried.
Completely forgettable.

You guys are too basic pop saturated it seems, I still need to hear the whole thing out but this album is not meant to be your average full of pop hits album. I like the vibe most of the songs have, the lyrics are great as well as KT's voice.

Well I listened to it for the very reason that It wasn't like her other, more pop-orientated stuff but it was a bit too light and conventional for my taste. I'm sure it would appeal to plenty of other people though.

Rubbish.

Songs can be slow and introspective and still contain decent hooks and choruses.
One of my fave albums from last year is The Staves debut and it's not a Pop album, far from it but it's filled with memorable tracks that have good choruses, middle eights etc.

KT's new collection is just dull and lacking in ideas.
