No, that's wrong. Very wrong. We (Gina fans) didn't want Dan evicted. Many of us wanted Sam out and voted for him. I also saw other Gina supporters joining up with Dan fans to vote Sophie out.

Dan was in my top 3. Shame he had to leave in the manner that he did.

Commiserations, I'm gutted to see Dan go, especially under those circumstances. I'm glad the crowd gave him a great reception though. At least Detective Dan had a feeling it was going to happen, which should have helped him cope.

I'm going to remember tonight whenever people moan about never getting a chance to vote out the boring ones.

Shafted by a twist that was surely supposed to weed out the lesser characters. The house will lose its focus now. Dan made a great BOTS evictee so I will watch that show this week for a change.

Why do Gina fans get the blame? That is unfair - most of us had Dan in their top three and didn't want him to leave. The problem, IMO, was that Dan's fans couldn't agree on who to target. I said from the beginning that it should be Sam but most went for Sophie which I believed was the wrong decision and, sadly, I was proved right.

Massive shame that Dan's gone, for me the best housemate this series by far and one of my favourite housemates ever I did think it was inevitable as soon as I saw he was in the safe house though, so at least I was prepared for it, which is more than can be said for him Oh well, I'll be supporting Gina from now on!

Tbh I would be surprised if Sam had more votes than Sophie I doubt he did despite the crowd reaction . But I am gutted Dan is gone he was a great character in there

well gutted isnt the word i got my friend to text me but when i watched it today i just cried for him-it was so unfair

So gutted that Dan was evicted, he didn't deserve to be at all. That ridiculous twist should never have happened. Now it's back to this tedious non-existant love triangle. :yawn: I want to hear Dan's conspiracy theories again and Callum impressions!

It wasn't too bad actually. Obviously some people were happy but the consensus seems to be that the show's going to be poorer for losing such a big character.

Oh well, we certainly tried our best. Such a loss to the show. The twist was cruel - and I don't just say that as a sore Dan supporter; it struck me as unfair to all 3 during the eviction show even when I was feeling quietly confident Dan would stay. Those 3 would ordinarily would not have been up, and for good reason - they are popular in the house. None of them deserved that and it just adds insult to injury that a great character was lost over the head of it.

That along with BB sticking the boot in Hazel with that task yet rewarding others, and revealing the rank order has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't even bother watching last night. Which is a shame because this was the first bb I've enjoyed in years. I wish they'd just cut out the ridiculous manipulation to pander to the drama-hungry Facebook generation and leave the HMs to their own devices a little more - they'll still end up with plenty of drama...and I might be able to stomach it a little better.

Anyway, back to Dan! He should be proud that he was considered a great HM, even with his detractors, and will be sorely missed - by us and HMs alike. I knew he'd get boos (sure, they boo at a drop of a hat these days) which wasn't nice when all their names were called out but I thought his eviction and interview went very well and he got plenty of cheers as he came out.

Really sad that dan went over two people that have contributed nothing to the series, i think it has finally convinced me that big brother is not for me anymore.
