The marriage twist was always about to fail, quite predictable. At least in this version quite a few people get nominated so Jade isn't certain to be evicted.

6 up for nomination every week seems a few too many, I would prefer 4. Also a further twist to change nominations seems unnecessary meddling. I'm not a bit fan of the nominations superpower either this or last season either, it's too random. And the Saturday Showdown power as a result isn't as important as it could be.

Although people tend to praise BB with nominations I don't think they are as strict as people say, and it was quite random warning Drew when he could just have easily done the same with some others.

Overall I was happy with the nominations, though I would have preferred Heidi up over Tim. I think Tim was right in thinking he is unlikely to be evicted at present, in a vote to save a big character will stay at this point. Sharon and Jasmine are perhaps the most in danger right now.

I don't see it as meddling. If it really is 'Save & Replace' like UK, then it's all fate and in the housemates hands rather than producers meddling.

From older series, usually BB doesn't like when you sound unprepared by stuttering and mumbling your words which is what Drew was doing. He didn't seem prepared at all and so deserved to be warned.

That'd be a shame to end it so soon, seems like a good show.

I love the way Australia do nominations, that chamber is really cool but the BB voice makes it better, complementing Jasmin on her lipstick!

I wonder how the saving will be done, hopefully not just the half-way house choosing someone.

Glad that Confidential is back!

I like Save and Replace if it's a task/competition in which they have to save themselves (like US veto or BBUK11), if it's just some other HMs deciding who is saved I find that boring.

It is explained here: http://www.news.com.au/entertainment...-1226520125420

If Tim is from Brisbane that would explain his drawling accent I guess.

Also you can tell Ed is an ex-AFL footballer, as he speaks like one (yeah-nahh you know...).

BB was quite relaxed in these nominations. Aust BB in the past has been much stricter than this.

I was glad Sharon was nominated. She doesn't seem too entertianing on screen either so I hope she goes early.

I think the save and replace/change to the nomination lineup is one twist too many. Part of the tension/drama of BB is the feeling of inevitability of nominations and evictions. They already have the super power, and this extra twist just seems like too much.

It was last year, I'd assume so this year too.

Latecomers seemingly shouldn't have bothered turning up at all.

Couple of amusing moments, but overall thought was a weaker episode.

I laughed at a few Tim moments tonight. He's growing on me!

In the latest episode, what did Caleb mean by "it's filthy" during the fake kissing thing? The fence was filthy, or kissing another man?

By the way, I'm not suggesting he's homophobic or anything, he clearly isn't. He seems like a lovely guy actually. I just wondered what he meant specifically here.

Tim's been making me laugh too.

I didn't hear that bit, but I'd just assume he meant the fence. Or was joking around that they was "filthy". Don't think he would mean for one minute it was because they was kissing another man.

Loved Tim in tonight's ep. He is a great character. His request to BB for a bed time story was hilarious.

Really like Jasmin... she is a slow burner.... could see her developing nicely over the next weeks if she is allowed to stay.

I love Tim, I think he's my second favourite behind Heidi. I initially thought he was just a bit of a tool but he's hilarious! I also really like Jas, I agree she could really develop if she doesn't go (which might be a possibility ), as well as Ed and Xavier.

Oh I thought it was vote to evict so I thought Mikkayla would go, but yeah Sharon will probably go (or Jasmin) if it's vote to save. Not particularly bothered about that, she doesn't seem to be enjoying the experience and doesn't seem to be bothering to get to know anyone.

For me at the minute. Such a shame I'm not liking Mikkayla because she was fab in her VT and on the first day or two

Watching it, I myself noticed that the fence looked filthy (especially with all the visible slobber on it). I expect Caleb meant the same thing - and he had a much closer view of it. I think it is safe to say that is the most feasible assumption to make.

Sharon annoyed me. She criticised the previous poor house people for being upset over being in there and openly said she couldn't be bothered going over to talk to them. Then the first night she is in there, the tears start. Then she claims she is only upset because her kids will see her upset. Well in that case, if that is the *only* reason you are upset, then stop acting like you are upset and the kids won't see it.

Ratings starting to enter more dangerous territory now, 754,000. Although it's still doing ok in the key demographics.

Ben and Tim are probably the most entertaining housemates.

Tim might have clashed with Tully, but let's face it, he can't have been the only one thinking that.

I thought she was a whinger partway through the first episode.
