Does anyone have any idea what it is? I know all the candidates guild the lilly a bit with their CVs but I'm sensing an even bigger whiff of BS with this one than usual

It's called the General Trading Store and trades on ebay:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/General-Trading-Store

See also this post on her cupcake business's website:

In 2009 Luisa set up an online business selling consumer electronics & cupcake products (random combination we know!) which kept her very busy and is now booming with 12 staff and a warehouse in St Albans. General Trading Store is now the 4th biggest consumer electronics seller on eBay in Europe and is fast becoming the number 1 seller for cupcake boxes & products in the UK. - See more at: http://dixiescupcakery.co.uk/dixies-....xmCg5ElG.dpuf

I wonder if she actually got the cupcake business up and running all by herself or whether this was just financed and set up with parents money.

Ebay businessess = everyone had them at one point. It's not a really business unless you have office space, staff and proper company formation.

Maybe I'm missing it but both websites are missing important details like UK company registration...?

That's a weird ebay shop. It has TVs on the "home" page but doesn't sell any( unless they are under baking!)

along with the MP3 players and Photography.. If she's the 4th biggest consumer electronics seller on Ebay then I'm the King of the North....

Also I suspect the 'warehouse' and '12 staff' work for the company she buys her stuff from.

Should make for an interesting ripping apart at the interview stage though..

Seems like a random sack of tat that someone's grabbed and put on a web store.

I can see why she's on Apprentice

Is she trying to compete with Amazon

Good luck to her and I'm hope she pays her taxes to the UK exchequer, unlike that Amazon shower .

Amazon pay the tax they are required to pay, if they are using loop holes to exploit playing less tax, thats up to the Government which created them, to close them.
