Just internet in 3G/HSPA (doesn't matter if voice/texts is included) what is the best value for me ? free sim or pay as you go plan ? i'd like just put a sim on my phone and have internet (mini 1Go data fair use)
what is the best for me ? Three ? vodafone ? other ?

thank you very much, and very sorry for my english...

No I don't think giffgaff ship to France (I may be wrong), and you can't buy them in a store. If you only want it for internet you would be disappointed anyway as the service (speed, etc) is not as good as other providers.

Three would be your best bet. You can get their SIMs almost anywhere, and there speed etc is far superior.

Hello mate,

I would go for three PAYG. There are stores all over London or you can buy sim cards in the non phone shops (most newsagents) so you should be able to pick up a sim card at St Pancras station or any of the airports for a pound or so.

Add the £15 add on and you should also get away with tethering a laptop/tablet.

Three have very fast data speeds (7-28mb download if you have a DC-HSPA enabled phone).

They also have unlimted data which really means unlimited - no catches)

By the\way, do not buy the deal you linked to as that is a one month rolling contract. By a sim in a store and a £15 credit voucher and top up through your phone, choosing the option for the £15 add on
.

in France we don't have many choice in prepaid card for internet (3G)
"pay as you go" isn't very developed but "monthly plan" are very cheap (£16 per month for all unlimited, voice, texts and internet 3Go)

but i found this for you: http://www.laboutique.bouyguesteleco...payee.html#bbh

sim only cost 1.90€ (£1.6) and top-up:

- 5€ (£4.2) for 300Mb internet, valid only 2 days...
- 10€ (£8.5) for 300Mb internet, valid 7 days...

all offer is for 300Mb internet, £0.25 per mb beyond

i suggest you to take twice 10€ top-up for 2 weeks or 10 days for 15€ (£12.5)

you can go in Bouygues Telecom store, or in a PhoneHouse store (= carphonehouse) for that

As others have said. your best choice is Three PAYG. Top up £15 and get 300 minutes, 3000 texts, unlimited internet. You can find this sim card in many stores like Three stores, Poundland, supermarkets, newsagents, small phone shops etc... Just remember to activate the all in one 15 add on once you top up £15.

You do not want the sim only contract, that's a 30 day rolling contract, which you need to give 30 days notice to leave.

This is what you want:

30 day rolling is like a contract without getting a phone with it.

What you have ordered will do just fine

don't worry about the 30 day rolling as you've ordered the correct sim. Just keep the sim card for the next time you come to the UK, or you can throw it away if you really want.

good luck!
