The two gay lads' date was so awkward. The one with the beard seemed lovely and the Irish guy was so cocky and arrogant and preferred to talk and joke about with the waitress than his date.
i was really surprised when the girl with bipolar said that she wasnt interested in her date- i really thought she was!!
and i thought the gay guy who talked to the waitress most of the time was so rude- i did think the waitress should've made more of an effort to not engage so much with him as it was clearly making the other guy uncomfortable (imo)

Yes, they used to give proper updates. Now it's impossible to tell who even saw each other a second time (probably none of them). I think it's because the failure rate to even secure a second date is so high that they deliberately keep it vague to make it seem as if some of them carried on seeing each other.

I reckon the "nice guy" had a lucky escape there - I didn't like that other fella at all.

She really relished the opportunity of having more of a speaking role, didn't she?

So was I! I thought she was joking when she was saying about his nose and his personality!

I thought the same. Talking so much to the waitress was just plain rude and a deliberate put down for his date who seemed really nice.
I was very surprised when the blonde bi-polar woman said she didn't want to see her date again - she seemed to get on with him, and they appeared to have a good time. Seems like too many people write someone off after just one date.
The gay daters just seemed a bit mis-matched looks-wise. The Irish guy was really sexy, but the bearded guy seemed nice, but not one to 'raise the sails' as the Irish guy put it. There just didn't seem to be any sexual chemistry there.
The girl with the 'Barries' and her date at least seemed to hit it off. I guess the 'big-boned' girl and her date did too but he creeped me out a little with his 'I won' stuff when she was in the toilet.
The bipolar girl suddenly saying no to her date was an obvious edit job to cut and paste the nice things she said, leave out the not so good, to create a shock for the viewer. The fact that she was oversharing information proved she wasn't at all interested in impressing him.
The gay guy was rude but his date was the bland type - "nice guy" who blames others for not seeing how nice they are.
