2 gay guys, I don't know why but I zoned them out within seconds, everyone else I enjoyed the ride.

Star wars conversation, I don't even know what number relates to which film, didn't know there were 6 of them either, thought they were up to 4.
Grace came over as 'old', can't define what it was though, but she was nice.
Whole show usually puts a smile on my face.

It seems the 'Caramac Phil Mitchell' woman, who was shocking out at the bar, in a previous episode is back for the celeb edition, then again the trailers can be deceptive in this.
I hope whoever is paired up with a celeb date gets a second 'proper' date with a genuine prospect.

i thought it was really lovely how most of the dates were succesful (or atleast more succesful than previous dates)...
a thoroughly enjoyable episode with no true idiots/nasties....

I liked Chuks and the short olympic weightlifting girl, didn't like the tall bloated faced gay guy, he thought too much of himself.

I'm pretty sure it's him at the bar with a blonde celeb. He sits like Jeremy anyway, slightly round shouldered. Bet he loved that, a date with someone famous, and he'll be boasting about it for ever more. Hope she puts him in his place.

Agreed. Hopefully she will keep checking incoming messages on her phone (from her agent or whatever) and she has to leave early to attend to "something important" as he did on his previous date.

I presumed they actually film all the couples and then pick the most interesting ones to feature each week, so chances are you'd be on, BirthdayGirl!

Actually, I do wonder what the couples get out of it by appearing - there's obviously the possibility they will meet the love of their life (and there seems to be a surprisingly high percentage of successful dates) but they risk huge humiliation and rejection ... and they don't even get a free meal by the looks of it as they pay for themselves. I wonder if the ones who travel down from, say, Manchester, get their fares paid.

You're not watching all the dates that are going on, something like 200 dates IIRC.
You probably end up in the 'background' (edited out) if your date isn't successful or interesting enough.
Probably a few more clues as to how it's done near the beginning of this thread, although the format's changed.

That poor excuse for a man was dull and grey, I actually feel sorry for him. He had no persona and was not all that handsome, I think deep down he knows and that is why he is like this. That poor woman she deserves better.
