Yes I think he just puts on a front due to all the knock backs he's had on dates.

I'm not too sure. He seems to come out with these "laddish" lines that are so offputting. I think he probably hangs around with jerks like that but they're probably more good looking than he is so they get away with it.

Seriously who says a chat-up line/joke about giving someone the D on a first date?

Really not looking forward to seeing him again.

He seems quite vulnerable - not sure they should have him on the show,

She has a very sweet face and a lovely smile. A little inexperienced but what's wrong with that? Cameron is a vain and silly boy-man. She deserves better than him.

Thomas does seem to wear his heart on his sleeve and to have a lot of sadness about him. He does seem a little too vulnerable for something like this.

I was glad Adam and Dan got on so well. It does seem like the gay guys on this show seem to have more of an idea of whether they are both into each other than the straight pairings often do.

Speaking of gay guys, the guy on the date with Iona definitely gave off gay vibes to me. Not quite as much as the wrestling fan last week, but still...

The ginger guy with the beard really needs to develop more of a filter and not blurt out every laddish joke that comes into his head. That's the second time he's talked himself out of a date. And a decent mirror for when he's getting dressed wouldn't hurt either - those skinny jeans were not a good look on him.

The maitre d guy is getting annoying, but I love Merlin the bartender is adorable.

He also needs to sort the beard out - tidy it up a bit ... or a lot. Surely it would put even the biggest beard fan off. He said he needs a beard so he doesn't look 12 but then talks and acts like a 12 year-old so why not shave the beard off and just be 12?

I liked this weeks show.

Had a bit of schadenfreude when the arse had his card declined

When the decorator chap directly told his date he thought he was a 'bottom' I face palmed, and thought he had blown it, but fair play to the other chap, he bounced it away, and took it well.

From the start, I thought they were a good match.

Like the geeky guy, especially when he was very detailed about what he would do in the event of a zombie invasion. I could go for a pint with him and have a good night

Reminded me of nights when I was a student, in the pub, debating rubbish topics like "Bear or Gorilla, who would win in a fight"

For me the best bits are when you have slightly querky people, who may or not appeal to everybody, but are essentially 'nice' and see how they get on.

Like, a couple of weeks ago; the lad who doted on his nan and the ditzy redhead.

The Declined card thing is a gag the staff have used before.
I guess it's part of the change in format over the last couple series to have the staff get involved, get chatty with the punters, ask questions while one half of the date is in the toilet.
Get a half time report, along with whoevers doing the post match interview trying to chivvy the dates to have a kiss for the cameras, as we saw the other week.

I'm not happy about the blokes paying the bill.
Some of the women do offer to pony up, which is something I guess.
They don't seem very forceful about it, but some Men can get humpy about that sort of thing.
In the women's favour though, they do seem quite gracious/grateful on the whole that the bloke's paying the bill.
Some seem to take it as a complement, well that's how it comes over to me at times.

The returning gay bloke who's like a walking open wound probably shouldn't be on this show, feels a bit exploitative/cheap, but it'll make a lot of the viewers go 'awwww bless' and the like, it's his choice obviously.

BIB I'm sure that must have made some sort of sense in your head, before it got to the keyboard.

I agree! Why should the man have to pay for the woman's "company"? Especially in this situation where he didn't exactly issue the invitation.

He's massively immature, isn't he? Seems nice enough but he really needs to spend more time among grown-ups - particularly female ones - before he starts dating for real.

And yes, I agree about the jeans but then I don't think they look good on many guys
