Lewis was cringeworthy. He knew he had no chance and was trying way, way too hard in the face of it! Then trying to take the high ground afterwards... "Mutual", "maybe one day" lol

Indeed! She (Megan?) was however stunning - I'm not sure why she applied/agreed to meet him - I didn't think she was particularly suited to him. Looks wise she was completely out of his league (I know it's not all about looks all the time etc etc). It seemed like she enjoyed leading him on though to be fair.

There's something not quite right about Megan. Of course she is very attractive but why is she on this show? I think it's more for the publicity and fame rather than to find a serious boyfriend. I find it very hard to believe she can't find romance without the help of a Ch4 tv show.

There is certainly something of a 'femme fatale' about her. She knows she is a looker and definitely uses this to her advantage.

Poor Lewis. Totally out of his league and his attempt to kiss her was one of the most cringeworthy moments of the whole show so far.
Men have big egos and many don't appreciate being 'friend zoned', especially on national tv. Don't think he took it well.

I think that applies to most of the people on this programme (and every other reality show).

You never know. If I saw her in a bar, I'd automatically assume she had a boyfriend.

Possibly planted in the show by the programme producers.

I don't know whether TV producers would risk planting a fake, given the furore in the past, but they'll get hundreds of people applying for dates on this show, and like with Big Brother, they'll employ people to sort through them who'll know the participants better than they know themselves.

I never suggested she was a fake..just planted.

They're mostly 'planted', as in chosen by the producers.

That's a lot of quite random speculation based on the fact the some people think Megan is 'stunning', I think Fahye knocks her into a cocked hat, mostly on personality.

The other single women on the site are hardly circus freaks.

Well they'd have to apply first, wouldn't they.

Just saw this, at last. Jeez, some of those people were hard work. It looked like first ever dates in many cases, while the excellent people we had in Undateables had far better social skills. The black guy and the woman with the orange face just quipped at one another without actually talking to each other, and the sweary idiot with the flight hostess was punching well above his weight, the larey wide boy tw**.

Sure. The producers have a wide range to choose from.

Just got round to watching this, and I agree that Megan is not for real. She's playing with us (and Lewis).

I really liked Kate. I think she's the most together person we've seen in the series so far, and I can only assume she was paired off with Maria deliberately to create a disaster for our entertainment. Well it wasn't particularly enertaining, and having put themselves through that, they both deserved better.

Fayhe was gorgeous (apart from the foghorn), but she made a bad choice for her second date and didn't deliver the goods. I expect she's found someone off-screen by now.

Megan didn't interest me in the slightest, don't know why, just don't want to know what makes her tick or hear anything more from her.
Their profiles on the website, really aren't a lot to go on, so how much research they (channel 4) do behind the scenes, I don't know.

There seem to be a lot of punters on there we barely get to see their faces.
We've seen some interesting snippets from the piece to camera after the dates of punters we haven't seen in the restaurant.
