Hipsters just don't get that there are lots of them and it's just a fad, do they?
Is it a fad? You mean it is currently fashionable? Maybe but a hipster doesn't suddenly stop thinking independently because it goes out of style! |

Mark (as in Abi/Mark) seemed very familiar to me. Does anyone recognise him from something else? Or maybe that date has been trailed during earlier episodes?

To value independent thinking does not matter in terms of numbers. If more people thought independently I daresay society would greatly benefit from it rather than the current situation we have borne of the herd mentality.

No because they do it as they mature and think differently.

I really felt sorry for Mark the way Abi treated him. She beggers off to the ladies for 10 mins leaving him sat there
She insults him in every way she could think of...smearing food on his face....If Id have been Mark I dont care if it was a telly show Id have walked out when she went to the toilet and then watched her face....oh and by the way she was no oil painting herself.! ![]() Good episode, I would bet Abi is fun in bed, as most crazy women are! Once she realised her date was really too good for her, she wanted him! ![]() I liked the scouse lady who likes PVC. She did have a somewhat intimidating appearance, but I thought she was a good laugh, with a great attitude. |

![]() She struck me as a clear case of someone who knows they are good looking and feels that anyone not on a par with that is not worth knowing. How shallow! She obviously got a massive surprise that night that made her question what she looks for in men...she said something to the effect that she had been getting it wrong. He must be very pleased to bring this wild cat to heel!

if you have neither experienced love or lust you can no more judge other people by saying people mistake love and lust than you can be judged on your feelings .
Yes I can, the evidence speaks for itself. Marriages end in divorce all the time, and couples are splitting up after only 5-10 years. And then there's the couples cheating on each other all the time, why is that? It's because their feelings of lust outweigh any feelings of love. |

Good point!
No it wasn't, and it was hardly worthy of an exclamation point. It seems you and Faye have decided to gang up on me for being different. |

It seems you and Faye have decided to gang up on me for being different. She is the reason I have stayed away from a thread for quite a while....pause for thought methinks. Incidentally, I love what makes us 'different'/individuals, which is not to say that this makes the voiced opinion automatically right. |

Not at all love can die, someone who you love very much can do something that you are just unable to live with, money problems can put the most horrendous strain on marriages.sex to most people is a primal urge and the lack of it within a marriage can make people feel rejected and unloved and look for it outside marriage. In the best relationships love and sex are deeply Intertwined .But unless your heart has skipped a beat as your gusset has moistened when someone you adore wallks into the room, you can't possibly understand how complex it all is.
Oh so now I can't understand the complexities of love? Well it seems you have already judged me and my kind then doesn't it? You and your people think you're so superior. This just serves as another example of the prejudiced assumptions everyone seems to make about us. |

Let's put this issue another way round... without direct experience of what it is to be asexual, if I voiced an opinion on it this would show up my ignorance to those that ARE asexual! Do you understand this point now I wonder? (Incidentally, I do not make assumptions about what being asexual constitutes since I cannot grasp that reality in the first place). |

By your own admission you have said that you have never been in love. Therefore, whilst you may have an opinion on it, this does not have the benefit of direct experience so lacks understanding and insight that is borne of this. It's a no brainer really - nothing to do with superiority.

Do you understand this point now I wonder? (Incidentally, I do not make assumptions about what being asexual constitutes since I cannot grasp that reality in the first place). It's pretty easy to grasp. It's just not fancying anyone, it's hardly rocket science. I don't know why you can't get your head around it. However if you need to be informed on this very simple concept there is a book available on Amazon called 'Understanding asexuality' By the way, I understand you and Faye's point of views perfectly, I think it is you two that don't understand me actually. Anyway, as it happens I have had deep emotional connections to others. However none of them would've been interested in a chaste relationship, unfortunately for me. |

Can we draw a line under this now or PM me instead? It is in danger of derailing this thread. Thank you. |
