The gorgeous girl with the dead eyes and the ear-damaging voice is back: "Octopus - can you eat that?" "Octopus is a mammal. They've got like 12 legs". "Tadpoles either turn into frogs or fish". And she has 12 GCSEs - mostly Bs. HOW?!

Another clueless couple - one had never heard of Dartford and his date had never heard of Hampshire.

What is going on?

But they did say that they weren't good in geography
"Essex girl" from Enfield lives only about eight miles from equally clueless Edgware guy. How can they not know of the whereabouts to each other??

Dartford and Hampshire coupe is a little bit more understandable,.......though only a little.

A guy who asks his date, out of the blue, how many people they've shagged isn't a guy whose claim to be good with the ladies I'm confident in.

Maybe they're easier on the planet she's on?

It was obviously on his mind. When she said she goes for bad boys, I must admit I was wondering the same thing. She is stuck in a destructive (abusive) pattern that, by her own admission, she would like to get out of.

To be fair, I grew up in Edgware myself, and although I knew of Enfield, I would have had no idea of how far away it was from Edgware or really of how to get there - it's just not the kind of place I would have gone to, or had any reason to go to. I was far more likely to take the Tube into Central London than to go to some other outlying suburb.

I did find the girl just as annoying second time around. If someone goes on about liking bad boys (or "f***boys" in her case), it's difficult not to feel like they get what they deserve.

The Bournemouth pair seemed nice, although, and I feel bad for saying this, I did find his teeth distracting.

I found it hard to believe the single mum waitress' date was a commodities broker in the City - he seemed very dim.

I'm like when Hampshire lad has Fred rubbing his white jeans from the raspberry cocktail

The Bournemouth guy had heart-stoppingly gorgeous eyes so I found the teeth much less distracting. As for the commodities broker - I think he's probably a runner, but good luck to him.

Wow, she was dim. Also, if you don't want people to think you're a WAG wannabe, why dress like one?

Why did Fred just put his hand out the door to test for rain when the outside is under cover?

I am really pleased for Ekow and Deborah - thought they made a lovely, suited couple.

The elderly pair were also another good match. Bit naughty to play Hendrix as Lee approached the restaurant! I know it harked back to his youth but seemed a mockery.

Gay Jonathan was right about David when he said he shouldn't mention his ailments on the first date, but that good tip was not taken well - David just looked askance.

Justin is unlikely to hook up with anyone worthwhile asking if they would like a polygamous relationship! Hmmm. (At the very least they might well be worried about contracting sexual diseases!)

Wonder what the 'bombshell' is next week.....5 days to get married or you have to leave the country? Ha!

Well behind on +1 and Timeshift.

Don't know what dating/pick-up books that Worthing bloke has been reading, but they're not helping his attitude, 'different species, different species', his response to 'do you ride?' '.......crude joke' made me LOL and cringe.
Uni didn't help him much in how to relate to the opposite sex.

Out of the two gay guys, the 'trolley dolly' from Brighton can come back again, phone on blokey can go elsewhere, just found his mannerisms annoying.
That said the listing of various ailments did go on about, keep it brief.

Not surprised the Roofer and his date didn't develop into anything, probably had a good night out together though.

They're probably a former couple. Cue the DS article about how 'Twitter EXPLODED' at the revelation.

Not going to spoil it but if you really want to know it's here: http://jonoread.co.uk/first-dates/fi...es-plot-twist/

I'd recommend watching the show though, because it's only done justice if you see their date first.

Don't get excited, that's not remotely big or explosive!

Ah so the surprise is a baby! I thought he was going to announce that they were engaged to be married. I could tell they really had something going. Great to see such a match!

I really liked how well the old couple clicked too - very well matched I thought and lovely to see.

I felt sorry for the autistic guy, Thomas. It must be hard dating when emotions are not your strong point. Sad also for his date, Sarah, who seemed to want to find someone to be happy with so badly.

I felt a bit bad for the autistic guy Thomas too, but at least he twigged pretty early on that it just wasn't happening. The bit where they were both eating their food silently was pretty awkward. I didn't really warm to Sarah at all though (and not just for the constant belching!). She looked quite sneery when Thomas was talking about his writing (and God knows why, because her own books sounded like bad Twilight fan fic). And someone should tell her that putting her hair behind her ears like that and making them stick out isn't a good look on her.

So they finally showed the old couple after having her saying "The good thing about dating at my age is you don't have to meet their parents" in the intro to every single episode. They were likeable, and I'm glad they got along so well.

I quite liked the Essex guy at first, as he seemed like someone who was trying to better himself (and I thought he was quite hot). His date was ditzy, but in a far more likeable way than the Enfield girl in previous weeks. Seemed like he was all talk in the end though, as it seems they didn't meet up again, despite his promise.

The baby news was sweet, but maybe a little hasty? Although they did seem really into each other and he especially seemed to tick all her boxes.

Spoiler alert - I think she's back next week with someone else who has been on previously.

I hope Arj discovered why he wasn't being very good on dates - eating peanuts as a starter and leaving his payment cards behind. Thought Rebecca was awfy nice to him even though they weren't dating material.

When Bradley approached the restaurant I thought he was trying too hard to be "cool" with the shades and ciggy (was it just me or did he have the Orlando Bloom look about him?). Didn't warm to him at all though, thought his date Sarah was ok if a bit giggly. Thought they were going to get a second date but looks like that didn't happen.

Great that they're having a baby although isn't it a bit soon? What was it, 6 months?

That date was so uncomfortable with the writer from Newcastle and also I think Thomas looked better with the beard than clean shaven.

Thought she'd have been better off with an Essex Scaffolder or Cockney Window Cleaner
