I loved Lynn. Is hope she and her date make each other happy. Ari has a lot of growing. Up to do. He was like a 14 year old who had never been in a restaurant before and was sitting there with his older sister.

I agree with both your comments!

Seems that Lynn's date, John, doesn't live locally to her which is a shame. I would have thought they would bear location in mind when matching them up. Maybe Lynn said she didn't mind about this.

Ahhhh, the Bristol couple .... Beckhams eat your hearts out! The girl was just the most beautiful thing I've seen for a long time (inside and out) and the guy was a REAL man. Insightful and only interested in living a decent life. Heart-warming stuff. I will be SOOOO dissappointed if it doesn't work out.

I am not familiar with couples by locations. Can you describe them in another way? Were they the ones who are having a baby?

I believe they are the couple having the baby. What about the stunning blonde in red and her date it seemed when I read at the end that even though they shook hands on having another date that they never had that second date which does seem a shame as she was gorgeous

Well looks are often not enough to sustain a relationship! I guess their characters were not compatible. Usually one of them has reservations.

Spoiler alert - I think she's back next week with someone else who has been on previously.
My mistake, I thought he was the same guy we sometimes see in the opening sequence but it's a completely different person. They seemed to get on OK though!

I was so thrilled that the writers Sarah and Nick hit it off so well! She was indeed a very happy bunny!! Loved the staff playing cupid with having the dessert outside (more secluded) and the cocktail called "First Kiss" which they took advantage of!

I found the dialogue with the two guys dating hard to follow. Had the smaller guy been about to marry a girl or guy before he was jilted and what was meant to have happened between the guys when they met before?

Well he DID admit that he had been partying hard since the break up of his long term relationship. What a loser though...what women in her right mind would tolerate flirting with someone else on her date?

Good point - I presumed it was a woman but may well not have been! When Richie and Paul met before, I think Paul (the jilted one) was keen, i.e. Richie said he attempted a kiss when Richie dropped him off. By his own admission, Paul said Richie was out of his league. They didn't suggest hanging out as friends though....hmmm.

Shirley was pretty but her honesty, to her credit, is going to scare some guys off.

She has a very severe facial expression that could benefit from being softened with the right makeover (hairstyle and makeup).

I found her obsessions a bit scary e.g. baking - how many victoria sandwiches did she say she made in a week? 9?? I am wondering who eats them since she seems slim.

I thought Shirley's hairstyle made her look cute......can't say the same for her outfit which amplified the size of her hips

The hairstyle looked far too young for her age and looked odd against her startling expression.

Well is was bad that he was trying to chat up Laura the waitress when he was with his date. Although Laura wasn't having any of it but I suppose the staff have to put up with a lot worse sometimes.

Remember the blind dater who fancied the waiter, at least she waited until she'd finished her date and sent him off home, to return with her phone number.

Laura's reaction made the whole sorry business worth watching for me, the faces she pulled and noises she made
That really was quite horrible, his date seemed to think they were really getting along and his eyes and mind was wandering off to Laura the whole time.
It seems he said more than the bit we saw where he said the staff were good looking and openly said how hot the thought Laura was in front of his date.
What a C0ck.

Jimmy Neon, the blinder dater with eyes for Laura the waitress, tried to fudge it.
I'd say it's a safe bet that he wasn't going to mention his children, but he got asked straight out, then couldn't lie outright.

It's a bit of toss up with that sort of thing, alky, long term health problems, mental or physical, etc.
Tell someone on a first date and they might run a mile.
Wait until they've got to like you over a couple of dates and they might choose to overlook it or 'deal' with it, as the now think you're worth the effort.

Shirley's from my area, and the right age group for me, I'll look out for her in Sainsburys
I can't remember if she was still looking for someone when the credits rolled.

Surprised how extreme the reactions seem to be to an Undertaker, it's something that people have to 'deal with' along side his two kids.

If you're 'hippy' you're not going 'hide' it from a bloke who's properly looking, no shortage of blokes who like a pear/hippy woman.
She had quite large lil's so it's BOGOF, larger boobs includes large hips/bum, in this case

I felt a bit sorry for her as she seemed to be in two minds as to whether she wanted to have another date.

Luckily he made up her mind for her by confirming that he was a toe rag.

I thought Richie did suggest they meet up again just as friends? I felt a little bad for Paul, as he seemed to be really into Richie. I guess it just wasn't to be though.

I'm glad Daisy walked out on that douche Ben. He wasn't even trying to be subtle about ogling and trying it on with the waitress. And then he still thought Daisy might be interested if he chased after her. What an idiot.

I still didn't warm to Sarah, but I'm glad she found someone she was into and vice versa, anyway.

Except he had 5. Not that that should've been a problem - seemed like a decent bloke to me. The woman on the date with him ought to have bitten his hand off...

It's one thing knowing this but would you choose to date someone who daily dealt with death? Not exactly the stuff of blossoming romance is it? If he had a great charisma then that would go a long way to compensating for his job....but he didn't really, did he?

I'm pleased they worked, pleased for any that work, however I found Sarah really annoying.

He saw it three times - she saw it five, he saw it London - she saw it Broadway, he went to Tenerife - she went to Elevenerife. Would drive me insane.
